She is an excellent professor. She is very helpful and down to earth. She is always ready to help you if you ask for it and she treats her students with respect. She wants her students to succeed and makes the class fun and interesting. Grading is pretty standard but you will enjoy the class and the discussions.

She is a great teacher very clear and helpful you do 4 essays in her class based on a book you Have to read during the semester its really easy other than reading the book you have no HW at all and helps you as much as she can i highly recommend her!!

She's a wonderful professor! I liked every book we read. She takes attendance and remembers you if you participate so don't expect to pass without going to class. Very funny, easygoing, and grades fairly. She is also there to help you if you are struggling. Take her.

I really enjoyed her class she was really nice and fair. There's a total of 3 essays and the third counts as a final. All her essays are almost the same you just have to compare them with the previous book you read. She's pretty cool I recommend her!

This class was fine and fair. There's noting I found negative. You need to but a lot of effort in your essays and she is willing to help you at her office. There is some small group presentations, and lots of reading(fair for English) she loves nature and is passionate about it. She's smart well educated and nice.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr. Plunkett! If you want a teacher who is smart, funny, educated, and actually cares, then take her. She is wonderful. She really gets you to think and is passionate about teaching. I wish she was teaching 1A next semester, but she did help me pick a teacher for 1A. She is a must take!

She is an extremely well read teacher, she was compassionate about her teaching, and has an awesome personality. She is not hard if you are there to pass her class. Three essay's, remember this is english 4 so you shouldknow how to compose an essay. She's structured and the class flows nicely. I would take her again :).

Plunkett is fantastic. The class subject can be a bit overbearing at times, but nothing too bad. She does an amazing job keeping topics interesting. There are only 3 essays and not many assignments at all (just readings). She's a fair grader. If you need help, she is one of the most helpful teachers you can have. Take her.

She is a decent teacher. She likes to refer to herself as "Dr. Plunkett" which got a little annoying sometimes. Discusses politics EVERYDAY in class. Gives advice for future education career. i had her for lit of the holocaust. AMAZING INSTRUCTOR. very liberal, she doesnt judge anyone and is very respectful of different cultures and open to new ideas. i admit she does drag on topics ALOT but it doesnt even matter. she has so much to share and makes class incredibly insightful. very helpful, nice person highly recommended.

Dr. Plunkett is one of the coolest teachers at chabot. She pushes you to excell so if you are a slacker do not take this class because you will fail. The readings were very interesting and she is a hard grader. If you want to better yourself take her!

an OK teacher, not hard, has a good sense of humor, but i feel like we've learned about the environment more than english, i wish she focused more on the essay structure.plus sometimes we had only one week to finish the 5-page essay.
