I loved the Mammalogy course. Dr. Pivorun knows his stuff. The tests are hard and he expects you to do your part in learning. He loves it when you ask questions. I loved chatting with him about mammals and research that he's been involved in. Brilliant!!!

Comment:

Dr. Pivorun is a funny man. He'll tell you like it is & doesn't mind helping you. He definitely doesn't mind if you ask questions. The stuff he expects you to know is reasonable & definitely seems like a fair man. Go to class & write down everything he says. Pivorun just wants you to get the big picture on the information being presented.

Pivorun's test are tricky but do-able. But he's not very concerned with students...either you know it or you don't, don't try asking him for help. Also--don't believe his BS about "curving"...it won't happen.

He is very boring, and his test are very tricky, but he does curve if he needs too. His class is very boring and his notes arent very detailed so you must read the book to get all of the information. He gives extra credit quizes that go towards your final grade.

Pivuron is a little boring, but he is a real nice guy and let's you know the real deal. He doesn't take attendance, but you need to go to class to understand the material. His tests are multiple choice. I think he is a great teacher.
