The professor does not feel it is her responsibility to communicate course material in a concise and organized approah. She does not teach text chapters at all, but gives quizes about textbook materials. Unbelievable workload in team project. Tough grader, over-emotional, very inefficient lectures. By the way, the only SIB460 professor option :)

She is the worst prof in Seneca College, nothing can learn from her class. All the things she talk about is boring stuff and nothing about the class. Don't choose her. U will regret whole life

Did not both to show up to several classes throughout the semester. When she graced us with her presence she would often be an over hour late. Talked down to students when they would ask questions, and needlessly raised her voice throughout the "lectures". Hasn't responded to email in now 21 days. Decided to make our final 50% of mark for no reason

Online method of learning is bad. She will not help you during office hours. Hard to get a hold of, in-person, email (forget a response-don't bother), QNM223 is stats, its suppose to be foundation work, not a statistics major. She does not respect students effort. She also talk down to the student.

Her lecture is more of a rant. She doesn't connect well with students based on lectures and helpfulness. Honestly, she really needs to calm down, be patience, and listen to what students are asking. She is all over the place as if her students are able to digest EVERYTHING she's saying in a lecture. Get ready to yawn!

There's a quiz every week that's based on the book but she didn't teach. The quizzes are hard and hard the answers in the book! She teaches lectures not based on the book that she asks you to buy! Also, tough marker!

Run for the hills it's Elena Skliarenko. This woman told our class that she didn't want to be there on day number 1 and it shows. She doesn't want to be a teacher, that's fine, but she shouldn't be teaching...Get ready for weekly quizzes based on nothing and non existing lecture plans. What are the learning objectives? Who knows? I surely don't.

even if you read the book, you must memorize small details for her weekly tests. Her tests are also tricky and remond a trap where 'none of the above is true' is the right answer. Her lectures are boring and cover basics only. So the majority of the class left, as they were done with the quiz.

Betst math teacher i have ever had! math is not somthing you can skip to pass, so if you go to most lectures and do the hw you it is posible to get an A in her class... she makes it realy easy to understand just dont be scared to ask her questions, she ill not stop till you get it! Great prof!!!!

Yeah, I agree. She needs to take some ESL courses to improve her spoken english, though it will still not be enough for a professor's level of english; however, by talking ESL courses, her level of english can be improved up to the level of junior high school kid. Enough to communite in a english speaking country!

With tons of miss pronounced words, her language is horrible; it's hard to understand her as she tries to speak, though with a very strong foreign (Non english) accent. Her old fashioned,and manual style of teaching further aggregate the problem. I will definetely NOT recommend taking her class.
