She doesn't stick to the rubric she makes and grades based off how she feels about you as a person, not your work. She changes due dates without telling anyone. She gives a lot of outdated, and incorrect information during her lectures. She passes off a lot of her own opinions as facts. She runs the class out of fear, if you speak up, you fail.

It's an online class. She puts everything up last minute and doesn't give you enough time to do it all. The tests don't match with the book at all, and they're really hard! And she never puts grades in. She does explain assignment directions well though. But I do not recommend taking online theater appreciation! Take Music or Art Appreciation!

Takes hr job to seriously, and takes things personal. I had to leave a play early to work, and scorned me because i didnt stay the full TWO HOURS. I have better things to do than watch a play...okay teacher, but theater is a joke, TAKE A BIG CLASS; MUSIC, ARTS etc

Back when I had her, she had a penchant for making the girls feel like they were worthless. She'd make costumes for the actresses that were WAY too big for them, and then degraded them personally if they pointed this out. So, you always looked 30 pounds heavier than you were. She wanted an army of fat people on stage, I guess..

Gossip. Very intelligent in her field, but doesn't like any questions about why things are the way they are. She takes this personally. Dedicated but difficult. Grades emotionally and personally. Concerned for students that will gossip with her. You can learn a lot if you are emotionally TOUGH and stick to subject matters.

Overall great teacher; either love her or you hate her; knows her stuff & talk me how to not be afraid to speak in public & how to speak correctly; expects you to be in class every day, on time; homework, quizzes, & tests here & there, but they are worth it because it really helps you to learn the material.

She picks her favorites, so make sure youre one of them, very stern in her attendace policy, class starts on the hour right on time... if youre ten seconds late, youve missed something, if youre ten minutes late, then youre absent for the day, I ended up dropping her, I heard to take Dorman...

She is a very good teacher. Always friendly and full of energy, maybe a little too much energy. Very liberal so watch out for that. She doesn't teach an easy class but if you just do your homework you will be ok.
