Very unorganized and vague, but nice. I expected to learn more about drawing technique, but we just sort of drew random stuff. I can't blame her much because coronavirus and the weird online education thing. I wish we'd gotten more feedback on our projects though.

Comment:

Very kind but instruction is often vague. Not super organized, but it was an art class so that's pretty normal. Only gave one "grade" all semester. Overall, the class was really fun but I don't feel like I significantly improved my drawing skills.

Elizabeth is super kind and you'll do fine as long as you try. Her teaching style isn't super structured, so if you want to learn specific skills you have to ask about them. She's very attentive to students and will help you grow as artists individually.

She is one of the coolest ladies i have ever met. super chill in class, just try your best within the criteria that she gives you and you will receive a high grade, no matter how "good" your work is. Very loose with her assignments and expectations. She really cares about helping you to enjoy art. Good choice for beginners and majors.

not for shy ppl; need to talk for good grade. put effort in and show progress, you WILL get notice. shot myself in foot by putting tons of hours in for 1st half of semester, then slowed down a bit when other stuff got busy which got me low grades for seemingly have done less work in 2nd half of the semester. that said she's very easygoing and cool.

Meyersohn is nice and encouraging. She does not impose her drawing style/views to students, and she also gives very constructive feed back. Critiques can take forever... Put the effort in the drawing and she'll notice it.

She is a very nice professor and easy going. Classroom environment is very welcoming and critiques are not insulting or painful as some art courses can be. She is very easy going and welcoming. The course can be fun. The only downside side is that she doesn't teach any specific skills, only tells us to work and figure it out on our own.

Really nice and fun professor. Plays great music. Very approachable, but not very clear with her teaching. Definitely need to put in work for an A. Very talented, but scatter-brained - typical artist :). Would recommend her, even if she is a bit unclear.

Elizabeth is a laid-back professor. She was very good with making sure she didn't stress us out too much. However, for an A in this class you need to put in hours, and it needs to show. Critiques KILLED me at the beginning of class, but that could just be my personality, a very uncomfortable hour. Overall, a good experience!

Elizabeth has been an absolute godsend for me this semester. She's awesomely cool, and she's really laid back so she doesn't let me get too wound up. She has been so encouraging, taking tons of extra time to talk to me about my work and about the major and my future. She's an odd duck sometimes, but I've loved my time with her.

she is my absolute favorite professors. she's fun, she's laid back but when it gets down to it, she knows what she's talking about and is really helpful. she wants to see you succeed and will help you get there (and with a smile on your face). she's absolutely wonderful!
