A professor who tells you EXACTLY what to study for the test is not a good professor. He's trying to cover up for his weaknesses in my opinion!!

I thought he was a good prof to take.. he literally tells you EXACTLY what will be on the test alot of times. He tells you what to remember. And you don't even have to open your textbook all semester. Tests straight from slides... easy tests... attendence not mandatory.. honestly what more could you want?

Really nice guy. Lectures from PowerPoint slides which he provides online. Also provides chapter reviews/studyguides for the exams. Goes out of his way to help you if you let him know you're trying.  DO NOT miss lectures because they really help you. Take good notes and I'd even suggest using a digital recorder: it's is ALOT of info coming at you

Dr. Blough is the Director of the Center for Diagnostic Nanosystems as Marshall. This is his first priority, and teaching is a formality of his position there. He's not the worst professor in the school, but he's far from passionate. He goes straight from the slides and makes the information more difficult than need be. His tests aren't too hard.

I think Blough is a great prof. He tells you exactly what to know for tests. Attend lecture, and the concepts will be easy to understand. I don't study hard for his tests but pay attention in lecture and record them to playback later, and easily get B's. Admits when he doesn't know something, and doesn't act superior to the students.

Not a very good professor. He words his tests to trick you on purpose and when you have questions he doesn't give you a straight forward answer. It is possible to get an A or B, but the fact that he purposefully wants you to get answers wrong is stupid.

I went from 227 with Dr.O'Keefe to 228 with Blough, and let me tell you- BIG difference. Blough's tests are easier, ive not stuided for one and gotten Bs but he is apathetic about subject matter, no clinical/real life correlations, and he cant answer 80% of the questions students have. not many choices for this class, but i dont recommend blough.

Dr.Blough was exreamly helpful, he took his personal time to have study groups for us. he was always willing to meet with us if we had any questions.

I had this professor last semester and I warn my friends to avoid him at all costs! His tests are ridiculous - not anything like the practice ones ... and his grading is unfair. Dr. Blough knew I was applying for pharm. school and needed a B in his class - I received a C when I was 0.02% away if this tells you anything.

He is a very good person and he means well but the difficulty of the material is very hard and it's hard to understand he will help you in any way possible though, study the chapter reviews, read the book and the slides and you will be fine also be in class and he tells you whats important

BSC 662 is a seminar class that is somehow supposed to teach us how to give scientific presentations. On the first day of class he spoke to the class from a desk without even turning around to face the class. Most days he seemed lethargic and apathetic. He is no teacher. Teaching seems to be a by-product of working at a university for Dr. Blough.

This class is hard, but so is any Physiology class. Blough will go out of his way to help you, meet with you outside of class if needed. He tells you in EVERY lecture, KNOW THIS, it will be on the test! You cannot ask for more help than this. If you expect to breeze through any BSC class, sorry for you. He will CURVE the heck out of the grades! :)

Everyone complains because they do not study! It isn't his fault the University decided to use a doctorate student to teach some of the class..it was out of his control..but when he returned to teach the final section, he pinpointed EXACTLY what would be on the final, gave all but the answers! I got a 103 on the final..He is as helpful as there is!

He never made an attempt to help the students. It would of been some help if he actually was in the calss teaching. Now Kovatch was hott and nice but had no idea what he was doing. But atleast he tried.

blough is hard but so is mallory,so if your in nursing you'll have to just take it and deal.The whole subject is just very hard to grasp in one semester. i think this class should be broken up into two classes, there are just too many concepts to learn well in 4 months. He had to curve our 3rd test 17 points and most still got C's.

He does mean well, however, when he wasn't there the class was not taught well. He was not clear on what would be on the test. Yes, this class is tough and he does attempt to help you, but his GA (Kovatch) was a terrible teacher and honestly ruined the class .
