Comment:

All time favorite professor. Teaches from a unique perspective. Each class is like a therapy session. Papers aren't bad, just be good with grammar and you'll get graded well. Get an A on the book reflection, don't have to write an essay for your final (just a simple 2 min reflection). Would totally recommend Rose, AMAZING class. Loved it.

Comment:

This is literally my favorite professor. Shes so kind and actually cares about you. She lets you know your grade almost right after youve turned in the assignment or done the speech. If youre late to class you have to bring a treat the next time. Even with quarantine right now shes been very reasonable and clear with instructions.

Comment:

Professor Eva Rose is a gem and truly cares about each and every one of her students. She has high expectations of you. Eva is a tough grade on papers, especially when it comes to grammar. However, if you put in the effort you can easily get an A in her class. Dont think you can just show up and get it though. Earned, not given in her class.

Comment:

Professor Rose is the sweetest. Her class is the best class I toke it feels just like a therapy class, this class was very open and personal we even ate there and she lets us bring food to share. If you do the work you should pass. If you get all A's In your work you don't need to take her final. Most test were just vocab and small essay, take her!

Professor Rose is one of the most inspirational people I have ever met. I genuinely enjoyed her class. Communication 8 helped me dig deep and taught me how to communicate with others to build relationships in the real world as well as family, friends, or partners. Their will be lots of food involved also just an FYI.

Professor Rose is one of a kind. In this class, you not only learn about about ideas about speech communication, but really get to know yourself as a speaker. Professor Rose cares so much and is there for you. I wanted to write this response after seeing the last just posted. Let me just say: you work, but she's fair. If you don't work, then . . .

I would not recommend taking her class if you are a visual learner or have a learning disability. She does not follow the book either, and can be confusing when giving directions. This class does tend to go off topic so make sure you are paying attention. If you still want to take the class I highly recommend recording the lecture.

This professor is a real "gem" she is so sweet and caring, everyone loves her classes. This is my second class with professor Rose and I feel blessed that I got to meet her and learn from her lectures that not only help you in school but also in your everyday life. I recommend this professor.

In all honesty, Eva is one of the most inspirational instructors I've had at Chaffey College. Be prepared to learn in with a different technique as she is an unique instructor. With that being said, I wish Eva taught more courses. Keep in mind, if you skip class you will have to make it up or your grade will suffer. Also, she provides study guides.

Eva is literally the sweetest. She is very empathetic, and teaches her courses like if she were a professor at Harvard. If you do the work, show up to class, and participate, I guarantee you will get an A. Truly a gem. I only wish I had more classes with Eva. She's a great professor and a wonderful person.

Very caring professor. Wants you to succeed. One bad thing is that she makes you share your personal life and have deep conversations with classmates and also to present. Only 3 presentations but if you pay attention its easy. She gives studys guides. Study the guides and mid term and final will be easy. Overall good professor.

She's very kind but very personal. All work of the semester was focused on sharing very personal information with the rest of the class. She also has a mandatory group project which wouldn't be so hard except she makes a certain amount of meeting times mandatory.

Professor Eva is great! if you are late to class you have to make up the class in one of her other classes. She outlines everything you need to do in the semester. Easiest communications class I have ever been in! oh, if you are late bring donuts!

Really nice lady. She had good lectures and most of what you learn will be from them. I prefer to be tested off book material but that's just me. You will have to be in class or make up the time in another. If your late you have to bring donuts. You will work on many projects it the same time.

Professor rose is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. She is an excellent mentor. If you are going to be late for class, just email her and she'll be cool with it (you will have to make up the class you missed, though) all in all I would definitely recommend Professor rose for your communications class!

Eva is the most engaging professor I have ever took. Get ready to learn in different ways because she is very interactiveasy, hands on, and is willing to go that extra mIle to see all her students succeed both in and outside the classroom. The only way you won't succeed in this class, is if you choose not to communicate with her. She's awesome!

Professor Rose is the best professor I have ever had!! She really pushes us to do our best, which really shows how much she cares! I do my best in class because I know that she comes in and gives her all to us. As much as I enjoy classes I get an easy A in, I don't really learn anything and I won't be prepared for transferring. I am ready now!
