Comment:

I took his courses in History and Political Science between 2000-2001, since then I have become an educator and college professor myself. Professor Broslawsky is a beautiful human being, I feel very lucky to have learned from him--about real life, about things that matter. Take anything you can with him, and please thank him every chance you get.

Comment:

Prof. Broslawsky runs a great class thats open for great discussion. Its not as structured as most classes tend to be, which I think is great and allows for different opinions and interesting debate. Just show up and participate in the discussion, show you have an understanding of the topics and care, and youll do great.

This was a very unusual class because there was a lot of discussion. He makes you question everything but does respect your opinion. Very funny. If you do the reading you will be ok but if you don't do the reading you may not know what is going on. He is very understanding if you have problems with the readings. ?Really helpful.

I am so glad to see that he is still teaching. He encouraged me to stay in school, graduate, go to UCLA and then to law school. He is an inspiration to me and to many other of his students.

Really inspiring. He ties in the class with what is going on in the world. He makes you think and look at the world in a different way. He lets you have your own ideas. The best teacher I have had at VC.

Mr. Broslawsky is an older man and talks about his stories in between him giving lectures. It is kind of boring actually. If you are not worried about learning into Humanities then take his class. Just show up, listen, and engage him. He also has two other old men who serve as "objective" viewpoints to counter his thought. Really funny.

Professor Broslawsky is a gem. He is one of the professors who teaches everything he's learned about life and the subject. He truly cares about each student and helps you to understand the subject and pass the class. Amazing professor truly one of a kind.

He is hot/one of the best professors ever @LAVC. I cant get enough for him. We have different political opinions yet he was always willing to talk/listen to me. He truly cares about me & my future. After his career he certainly doesn't need the job he is here because he loves teaching. 350 char isnt enough to say it all I implore you take his class

Honestly, Professor. B wasnt just a professor to me. He has been one of the most influential people in my life. His class is what an academic experience should be like. I took his class two years ago and I remember everything we talked about like it was yesterday. He changed the way I think and view the world (more compassionate vs capitalistic).

What can I say? He truly cares for his students! He makes you to respect yourself because he believes all of us are capable of being unique and original. There's really no need to cheat in his class because he wants you to just write down what you think and how you feel on the topic questions he gives you. He's also very knowledgeable! Take him!

My mom and dad met in his class in 1992. They loved the class and I can see why. He really knows his stuff. At first I thought I wouldn't understand but after a while I saw what he was talking about. He really explains stuff if you ask. Fun in the class and you learn a lot. Three essays including the final. He lets you have the exam questions

Professor Broslawsky is one of the best instructors I've ever had, his lectures give you all you need to pass. He is very open to hearing our opinions and views and he respects them. This class wasn't difficult because he made sure we knew the information we needed to pass out exams.

BEST CLASS I EVER HAD!!! My mother and sister took him years ago and say the same thing. READ and LISTEN and ASK QUESTIONS and you will LEARN!!! You will probably see the world in a different way after his class. He will teach you to RESPECT YOURSELF!!!!

He really cares about his students. You can count on him to be available. His lectures are often funny but he really knows what he talks about. Most of all he respects his students and allows them to express their own ideas. He is a legend at the college and the best teacher ever.
