Also took Wellman for Media Law, which is a hard class, but he's worth it. Ferrell Wellman was one of the best instructors EKU had, I'm sad for Comm majors who will not benefit from his great classes.

Best teacher I have had at Eastern so far. He knows what he's talking about and is extremely helpful. Note taking is a must in his class because that's where his tests come from. I learned more from his class than I could have ever imagined!

Best professor I've ever had! He knows his stuff. Lays it out for you. If you take good notes and make notecards to study with, you will have no problem. He provides a study guide covering every topic. He's an amazing lecturer. I considered class "story time". I have never wanted to attend a class more than this one.

He is very nice, and gives out studyguides before every test. If you dont know or cant find something that was on the study guide, and go to his office hours, then he will help you.

Wellman gives out study guides before each test. No homwork. In class notes are extremely important. Gives extra credit after each test about random stuff. Knows alot. Sometimes rambles off but all in all gets the point across.

He is very knowledgable and helpful. Likes to add a bit of history into EVERYTHING. Tests arent all too hard if you look up everything on the study guide. Make sure you take good notes, and pay attention even when he veers off course, he could cover a BONUS question that could score you points on the test. Overall, a very good professor

"Know-it-all" but nice. Commends u on tests/quizzes when u do well. Homework/tests fairly easy - study guides given. 3 exams, NO FINAL EXAM! Did group thing once. Knows about the business. Won't need Missouri Group book (just notes). Plenty of handouts. Take if u have to, or want to write newspapers or tv scripts. Othewise, nah.

Wellman knows his stuff, although he does get a little boring at times, and tends to drag on a bit. This class is very hard, and he doesn't take it easy on you. He does, however, make it interesting with stories and real life situations. Take lots of notes.

He is a really good professor, and really interested in what he teaches. He does take attendance, and the only grades you have in the class are test grades. He covers information very well, however, his tests aren't alwways "easy."

HARD HARD HARD class!!! But he makes it ineresting with stories. Yeah he tends to brag about himself...but it only prooves his credentials. His tests are tough but he is always willing to help you out. Stop by his office and he'll respect you for doing so. He always knowa and cares about everyone in his classes.

Well he drones on & on and talks off subject, is boring but he does really care about his students & is willing to help if you ever need it. He is very knowlegable but still, the class is more difficult and sometimes you want to throw something at his head cause all he does is brag about himself, his jobs, and how you should want to be like him.

Ferrell (you can call him that after you pass his first class) is a great man who teaches the subject matter in a very concise way. Since he has worked in some type of communications related job all his life, he really knows his stuff. highly recommended (even if you aren't a COM major)

Ferrell brings a wealth of broadcasting knowledge to EKU. I learned a lot in his class. His test aren't bad and he makes class fun and enjoyable. I highly recommend him.
