I really enjoyed her class. She is such a nice woman and will work hard to make sure you work hard. At first I was nervous, but as class goes on I realize she cares about all of us and will do anything in her power to make sure we all are successful. She also makes you feel comfortable to talk in front of people. Such a wonderful lady.

I was given points and later they were taken away because "she put in the wrong grade." In order to receive credit for something, every word must be the way she wants it. Her teaching style is to talk in front of the class the whole time and tell different stories.

This class was the hardest class I have ever taken. She is very biased. She's not helpful and just looks at you like you're an idiot. Her grading makes absolutely no sense. I took one sentence out of my speech and gained 20 points. It's ridiculous and I don't recommend anyone take her.

Energetic and excited, yes. But she treats all students as if they are about 8. I understand she works with the youth company, but she needs to tone that down with her adult students. Also, she should work on her own projects outside of classes. Her students should not sacrifice their learning for her whims.

She is awesome! I would take her again in a heartbeat. She is smart. She knows what she is talking about. She has an upbeat personality too. She expects the best out of you. If you listen to what she tell you to do, you will do great.

Never thought I would say this, but I enjoy coming to this class. Uses hilarious personal anecdotes to emphasize a certain topic in class. Study guides are EXACTLY the same as the exams. Awesome instructor. Take this class if at all possible.

You can't help but love her. She is a very interesting person, and her rants are entertaining. Although there was the damn trip to the middle schools, and a bit too much dogmatic forumlas for presentations and discussion for my tastes, it was still a worthwhile experience.

I took Speech from Dr. Kirk a few years back and I am still using everything she taught me today! She is funny and intelligent. She helps her students whenever they need it. She is a great proffesor! I definately recommend her courses.

I had Dr. Kirk for listening skills her first semester she was at FSC. She is a great person and a fun teacher.We had to do a lot of work for a 1hr class but she made it fun and interesting. I would recommend her to anyone. Keep it up Dr. Kirk!!! :)
