I've had amazing instructors at Macomb until I took this class with this instructor. She's extremely rude&turns this easy subject into the hardest, most complicated&difficult possible class. If you email her a question, don't expect anything but attitude. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT. If you want to take astronomy, take it with a different instructor.

Professor Fey just doesn't know how to teach. She really needs to stop being arrogant and start trusting her students. She needs to come to class ON TIME and teach all the concepts. She needs to adjust her time on lecturing instead of saying oh you have a lab,and not giving us enough time. She needs to change her entire attitude and be more nice!

Professor Fey really needs to read these reviews. She is often rude and not considerate of circumstances and blames the entire class bombing an exam on the class instead of her. Theres exams where nobody got above an 80%. She often goes on about how she doesnt trust her students and talks back and gets snarky when you ask a question. Do not take

Professor Fey doesn't care at all about her students. She definitely needs to read these reviews and change her attitude and stop being so selfish. She just talks forever, doesn't know how to use the projector correctly,doesn't let students take notes. She is kinda harsh on grading labs also, but we don't get enough time to do them. DON'T TAKE HER!

Professor Fey definitely has a good heart and I see no ill intentions, but Ive never had this much difficultly in a subject matter I am already familiar with. She doesnt trust her students at all and will lecture for 2 1/2 hours and then leave us 30 minutes to do the lab. Also, its been 2 months with grades barely being updated. Sorry dont take.

She is just outright rude. She doesn't let us take notes during class. She is just late all the time to class and then yells at her students for being late. . Tells us we have a lab and that we have to finish on time, but she talks too much and wastes our time. DON'T TAKE HER!! Tough grader too. Doesn't like when we ask her questions.

Takes forever to get to the point of the lecture and goes on forever about unnecessary things. Teaches the bare minimum, so you'll have to do tons of self-studying. I did appreciate how she graded our exams based on the physics we applied. If we had the wrong final answer, she still gave us points if we had the right steps leading up to it.

Professor Fey I believe has a heart that strives for good but is overshadowed by her lack of trust in students. She is not helpful when you ask questions. Questions turn into arguments and ultimately tells you to figure it out on your own. She rants which takes up lab time, then expects you to finish in the remaining time. I do not recommend.

She does a good job of explaining things qualitatively, unfortunately the nature of the subject material is not easily understood by intuition. I had better success ignoring her methods and teaching myself the math. She has an abrasive personality and peculiar classroom rules. Do all of the homework and you will be prepared for the exams.

Her class honestly wasn't as bad as I was expecting based off of reviews I read in the beginning of the semester. 1-2 homework assignments every week plus a quiz. EC opportunities and the book is online. You do have to buy an access code to view it but its needed for doing hw anyways. Quizlet was extremely helpful. Would take her again if I had to.

I really can't say anything good or bad about her since I've never met her and don't know what she's like. You really only get assigned a homework assignment and test every week. I'm very interested in astronomy but am by no means the best at it, and I found the workload very manageable.

The first few days (4) I couldn't buy the book (due to having to pay out of pocket for classes and materials), and when I asked how I could do the two assignments that were on the online book she told me I was out of luck. She would not let me do the assignments, even though I would buy the book in 3 days when I got paid. Rude and difficult person.

Professor Fey teaches like we are kids. She does not let her students take notes in class as it seems to annoy her. She marks down students who are a couple minutes late, but she is usually late every section. She is rude to students who struggle or ask her simple questions. she definetly needs to change her attitude.

I had Professor Fey for astronomy online and if I didn't have quizlet, I would not have passed. I was in the ER for 4 hours on Saturday night and she wouldn't let me retake the quiz because I wasn't technically in the hospital. Very difficult to communicate with, even online.

Her lectures aren't the best which really doesn't help with this hard class. starts solving problems in class without making it clear what the question even is. Her tests were related to the topic but not to the HW problems, there is no reviews. I am majoring in EE and this was not a good first experience with electricity thanks to her.

This is my first time writing something like this because I wish I had read an accurate review. I strongly do not recommend taking this professor. She's very unprofessional and blatantly rude. Every students in the class did not believe they would receive a passing grade at the end of the semester. Expects you to study 36 hours a week. POP Quizes

As a physics major and as someone who enjoys the subject as a whole. I can say professor fey does not teach the material all that well. I started off the semester by creating a discord group chat and adding all my peers. Sadly this wasnt enough.
