"She actually knows how to teach in the proper style" Very true! I loved this teacher and this class, one thing she said that stuck with me "I would like everyone to participate, i wont randomly call on students because that gives students anxiety and when you have anxiety the brain shuts down and wont want to learn"

She is a clinical psychologist and taught us so much practical information that we would never learn in a textbook. The papers were interesting. There was no conventional tests or quizzes. This class was interesting, every single week. I would highly recommend her for Intro to Psych. She is my most memorable teacher at MCC.

The Professor Linda is Awesome, She actually knows how to teach in the proper style. The way she teaches is excellent and if we can understand the class everything will be really easy she is Motivated and she Inspire other students to love education.

I loved Professor Spier, her lectures very awesome. No test, no quizzes, had to do 3 papers which were real easy. Just show up to class and you will do great. She even brought in her husband to do Hypnosis...

Linda is so nice and she's an awesome professor! She doesn't believe in traditional tests and excessive memorization :D. If you're taking this class because you're pursuing a degree in psychology, then you will definitely have to review and memorize the terms on your own. Although we discuss the topics in the book, she focuses on her case studies.

Ms. Spier is a very enthusiastic professor with a lot of real life experience. Her online class required a lot of work and attendance, but it was not hard. She explains the requirements for each assignment very well and provides a lot of feedback. I liked getting the feedback, rather than just a grade. I would highly recommend her!!

I loved her online class. There are a mantatory number of days in which you have to log in, but the number of days and the amount of assignments go hand in hand. I found the class to be easy if you did the work properly. I would deff take another class taught by her. Great class and teacher.

Awesome professor. Online class consisted of posting in discussion boards, and your grade was partially based on weekly attendance. Textbook helps to reinforce topics covered in class, but is not mandatory for purchase. Put some effort into learning the material and it will be an easy A. Professor has a lot of practical experience in Psychology.

She is a GREAT teacher. I loved her class. She does class activities, has guest speakers, and a couple of small projects. She hands out chapter reviews...NO POWERPOINTS!! She's interesting and fun. Always available for questions and encourages class comments. She is an absolute dream teacher.

The best psychology teacher ever!!! She's the nicest and easiest teacher I have ever met. I took her 8 week online course and all we did was a seminar each week the consists of an easy assignment four days in a week. It's an easy A and anyone can pass this class.

One of the best teachers I've had. She's very involved with the students. She provides a lot of info also. She doesn't just have you read a book and take a test. I'm in an 8 week course. I advise anyone to take this course. I have another online class and the teacher is barely involved, I've only seen 2 postings for that class and it is ending.

I absolutely loved Mrs. Spier!! She was a very thorough teacher, answered questions quickly and clearly, made the assignments fun and was very laid back. The work was manageable and very fair in how many points they were worth and the grade she would give you. I absolutely recommend her!!

Low stress class (when taken on campus). The papers aren't difficult and it's all very laid back. Nice break from other classes. Good teacher. However, if you are going into the field and want a bunch of definition memorization, etc. this class may not be for you. One test only and it is also not a big deal. Highly recommend.
