Very funny dude. I was able to keep up with his lectures even though he reads off a power point presentation. Knows what he's talking about. If you have to do a paper for his class, it has to be printed out copy handed to him, no emailed copies. That's just how he is haha

Bailey is always my go to history professor. The way he teaches could be a little difficult for some students usual learning expectations but if you show up to class, you'll pass. Lectures are funny because he's a funny dude. Swears a lot but keeps you awake.

He is hilarious! He basically tells us his life story before beginning his lectures. He makes everything interesting. He says class is mandatory but he never really cares if you miss class. There are 2 exams and 1 paper for the entire semester.

I love his lectures. He is the best history teacher ever. I wish more teachers had his lecture style. He can turn a boring part of history into something interesting. He explains it in a way that can make you laugh and definitely remember. Attendance not mandatory, but lectures are crucial.

I didn't have a teacher-student relationship with him but his class is seriously the best! I wish every other instructor was like him. Lecture heavy, gives us answers for tests and non-mandatory attendance! I am going ti try to take at least one more of his classes.

Dr. Bailey demonstrates an immense passion, motivation, and contemporary expertise on "All Things Hawaii"... He skillfully combines Hawaiian life, history, critical thought & intelligence into the incredible story of the Hawaii Experience Additionally; he's hilarious! Highly Recommend!

Very passionate in his work! He always reviews before tests, gives you extra credit sometimes, talks about his life which is hilarious. He is a really nice professor! One of the best professors I've had. He is an easy A as long as you pay attention in class, and keep up with the class.

Super funny and knows what he's talking about. Swears a lot and it can be a little overwhelming but in a way, it keeps the class awake. He gives out easy extra credit points and goes over tests thoroughly. Definitely would take his class again.

Bailey is an amazing teacher. I had to take his 830am class and it was well worth it. I actually looked forward to his class. My only wish was that the class I was taking after his wasn't so boring in comparison. Going to class is enjoyable honestly because he gets in all that you need to know, but he has all these funny stories in at the same time

Heads up: if you're sensitive to dark humor or swearing, don't take his classes. Anyways, his lectures were incredibly hilarious. He knows how to teach while being funny and relevant. I didn't even need my book, I just went to class everyday and took notes; passed with an A.

Great teacher! Sometimes uses powerpoints in lectures (not found on ecollege), but most of the time just talks and lectures without specific resources. Really knows his stuff though. So make sure you make it to every class as you wont be able to find the material you've missed at a later date. Gives good exam reviews, tough but very fair.

everyone complained that the tests were hard and its obviously because they didnt READ the textbook. you will do FINE on the tests as long as you read the chapters of the textbook...this is college isn't it? it isn't asking too much to read 10-15 pages a night. otherwise the class is very entertaining and he is a very good professor
