I had professor O'Mara 14 years ago for Speech Comm, Intro to Rhetoric, and I was a TA under him. Best professor I had in Oneonta & his rhetoric class was by far the most interesting. Even the meatheads in the class were into it.

This man may be SUCO's best Professor. He is brilliant in many different disciplines. Teaches the proper way to argue. Attendance is Mandatory. His tests are kinda tough, he grades tough on the debates, but overall he is awesome. Fun interesting topics. Just remember to "Stay out of the Bars" as said at end of every class. DONT RETIRE O'Mara!

This class and this professor will teach you the smart way to argue in life. DEFINITELY take this class. It is not hard. I took Freedom of Speech, Argumentation, and In search of New Rhetoric with O'Mara. I think he is the most insightful teacher on this campus. If you want to pushed to think, take his class, you will learn so much and take a new perspective on education and life.

Prof O'Mara is a great guy, very funny and very intelligent. He's tough, but you will learn. Come to class everyday and get +3 in the end! If you are thinking about taking this, I suggest you do-he is awesome.

Super dry sense of humor-he's hilarious. Spends a bit too much time on politics...but he's a good teacher. He's interesting and super intelligent. Haven't had a test with him yet, but I've heard they're brutal so I'm scared!
