Easy material was made difficult and not taught well. Professor was boreding in class not not engaging nor interesting. Online homework was pointless and expensive.

Lectures are extremely boring as he mostly just reads off the powerpoints that are always posted online. If there wasn't daily quizzes, attendance would never be mandatory. As for tests, if you memorize the practice tests given in SI and in class, you'll be fine.

Comment:

Genetics is a difficult class and there's complicated subjects covered, but overall he does an excellent job explaining the subject. It may seem like he's annoyed when you talk to him after class, but he's not and it's really helpful and worth going to talk to him if you need help to understand something.

I have been a college student for upwards of six years now, and Dr. Schnee is by far the finest professor I have ever had. He has the ability to make very difficult material understandable and interesting. Has a great sense of humor and is willing to spend time helping with any question. All around great guy. Only suggestion, make sure you study

Schnee was awesome. Very good at explaining everything. Tests not too bad as long as you studied. Extremely clear and helpful. Nice guy if you ask for help. Will sit down for an hour to help you. One of the best profs.
