If you want to learn anything about philosophy, take a class with Dr. Idziak. She makes a challenge subject very accessible and her lectures leave no room for confusion. She is also very sympathetic in regards to how much work she assigns.

Comment:

Not the greatest teacher. Was lectured for "playing" on my computer during class but when her lectures are that sucky, that's what you have to do to stay awake! She expects you to care about her lecture when she doesn't test over any of that material so it's pointless to take notes, a waste of time. She yells at people in class for having opinions.

I'm sure she's a nice lady but she definitely has some difficulties socially and really probably should not be teaching. She is quite knowledgable but does very poorly to share that knowledge and connect with people on the most basic levels. Very intelligent, but not a great professor.

This professor is very concise and logical; she knows her material like the back of her hand. She is not very diplomatic, but her powerful grasp of philosophical material is very helpful.

Had her for genetics & ethics cluster and it was terrible! You must agree with everything she says in order to get an A. She talks to herself in class and has only one point of view and that is the view of the Catholic church.

She is unbearable, totally bias, and she is entirely close minded and which is made worse by her ultra right wing and religious views. Also she is borderline senile, she jumbles her own words and yells in class because she things no one hears her. Asking her a question is like asking a monkey a calculus problem while pulling your own teeth out.

Took a Cluster with this woman. To put it one way, fill your water bottle with booze and tone her out. Agree with everything she says and believes in and you'll do fine... disagree with her, and you fail. Be prepared to handle her babbling with computer games, booze, and AIM- then, agree with everything she ever suggests and you win. She's bad.

She's completely oblivious to the fact that students are taking other classes or have lives outside the classroom. Her aruguments are sometimes questionable, but it you do question what she says she'll shoot it down without a very good counterargument. Basically the worst professor I've had here.

Well, where can I start...she made me cry when she said, "You musn't know how to research" after I'd written a 10 page paper. I often wanted to stand up in class and say I support cloning and abortion just to drive her crazy!
