Dr. Gail is great! She brings an incredible energy to the classroom everyday. She is very passionate about the environment and active in the community. Definitely study for exams, and volunteer during the semester to get extra credit points. She is the best professor I have ever had, and I highly recommend her classes.

Comment:

Dr. Gail is amazing. She really cares about her students and tries to make the class as fun as possible! We went on some very fun field trips for lab. I did not try super hard and ended with a C. Attendance is not mandatory for lectures but you should go or else you will miss the notes. Attendance for lab is mandatory. She is truly wonderful!

Comment:

One of the best professors at Chaminade. Lectures are heavy yet she's able to keep it entertaining to the point where you WANT to take notes. Very understanding when it comes to unexpected absences, takes time to explain course material and is a kind-hearted soul. You don't find many professors like her, so if you have the chance, take the class!

Very engaging and understanding. Funny and knows her stuff. Paying attention and studying will play well with her class. Pretty laid back, but you should still attend her lectures. Clear with what will be on exams and provides many extra credit opportunities. Be prepared to be active.

I love professor Grabowsky. I never met someone so passionate about marine environmental science. Its amazing to learn from someone so knowledgable and devoted to saving the planet :-) . It has taught me to be more aware of surroundings and how it is changing on a daily basis.

She is a fantastic teacher. She takes you through her notes step-by-step and it doesn't get better than this. She makes class fun and always is telling jokes. I highly recommend her class. The labs require you to go snorkeling in the the ocean. Best lab ever!!!

professor gail is very energetic and nice. she takes attendance so it's important in her class. As long as you copy her notes down and study them (exactly), you can get an A. Grade wise, she doesn't babysite you, so stay on top of days you missed and go to her to get assignments. overall a good teacher to take at chaminade.

Dr. Gail is an awesome professor and has a unique and energetic personality:) She is full of life. Her classes are not dull at all, very interesting. You'll have a blast and lots of laughs in her classes. ENV400 has alot of readings, so be prepared to read your brain out. I also took ENV 100 and 201 with her. Her classes are great & you learn alot!

Dr. Gail is an amazing woman. Aside from her unique ability to teach with such passion and enthusiasm, the woman has done alot for the earth in terms of conservation. Shes on the council for the North West Hawaiian islands preserve, and always has various projects going on pertaining to the environment.
