Dr. Kappel was by far my favorite professor at Bethany. His lectures were interesting and quite engaging. He is a kind and intelligent man, always willing to help students. It's a pity that he no longer teaches, from what I hear.

I've never been a history fan, but he made it all really interesting. He has a fantastic presence in the classroom and is genuinely excited (and highly knowledgeable) about the subject matter. Take a class w/him if at all possible.
