Good class to take. You will learn Excel and Python. Excel is OK but Python is harder. However, you can submit the assignments many times and this helps your grades. The instructor responds fast and helps you with different issues you could have. He has extra credit if you go to presentations.

I don't know how he is with his on-campus classes (if he has any), but he didn't make an effort to meet with me when I genuinely needed help with Python. He referred me to the tutoring center (which, if not for one knowledgeable guy there wouldn't have been much help). Never have I experienced apathy from a teacher, more so a college professor.

Easy to navigate class. The assignments in Excel are not easy but you can redo them to get the maximum score. Access is very easy. Python is mot easy to understand but Mr S. lets you redo them many times. Overall, a great experience!

excel and access are pretty easy. the hard part is python. the book rarely helps and the professor will say read the book or go to tutoring. everything is graded through cengage so you know your scores immediately. one of the harder classes ive taken. I cried when we were "learning" python

This is the hardest class I have ever taken in my life and I recommend not taking it online if you have no prior knowledge with excel, access, or visual studio. There is no way I wold have passed without a tutor. This is not the professor's fault, he tries to help as much he can and he is a fair grader. Class is just extremely hard.

Very good professor but it has a lot of Homework. Make sure you do not skip the Visual Basic Homework. You learn a lot but it is kind of difficult, especially in the beginning. He gives partial credit.

Prof. Sfakianakis is a very good Instructor. I learnt a lot about Excel and Visual Basic in this class. He gives you the opportunity to submit late and he always responds to your questions on time.

The professor was extremely helpful during the summer, responds to you on time and he is well organized. Excel and Access are OK but Visual Basic is difficult but he let you submit late and he will make all Quizzes and Tests available at the end of the class.

I love this class, I learned so much! It is pretty much self taught so the first half with Excel and access is very important to do because you can give yourself a little slack later on. Visual Basic is time consuming but fun when you finally figure it out. It may be hard in the process but you will learn a lot!

I was disappointed with this class because there was little help over the material from the professor. There is no materials offered by the professor to help you with the assignments besides your textbook which at times does not completely help with your work. Second half of the class was extremely difficult since basically have to teach yourself.

Online class. It was hard because he had assignments due every week by Friday, which most online professors have things due by Sunday or Monday. You dont have to turn in the book assignments for Excel and Access but you do have to do the exercises in MyITlab. Gives extra credit opportunity

Took online, and its hard. Make sure you do well on the excel portion to save points for the VB... which is HARD! Just do the assignments in the beginning of the week... when questions are asked... prof doesnt respond until later in the week, which BUGS since I tried to turn in assingments Early which was annoying. but ok class. :)

Great class, Visual Basic section a little time consuming, but not hard. Teacher is very willing to help and the assignments aren't too hard if you read the chapter. Each week there is a quiz but its only 5 questions...pretty easy. Not hard to get a good grade in the class if you do the work and ask for help when you need it!

Took it online, got a B. The excel portion of the class is great, only textbook I've kept so far. Visual basic stinks though. Do well enough on the first assignments to allow a cushion for the end of the semester.

Tests are easy. Read the chapters and respond to questions. Excel Assignments are easy and the book very good. Visual Basic is the area that is harder and you need to study more. Professor Sfakianakis is available when you have trouble with the assignments. He is very reasonable.
