Kirkman is a clown. While his class is pretty boring (70 minute lectures every time), he can answer any question. Can be awkward when asking questions though. Gives you old exams to study from and holds review sessions before exams. Plus there's a picture of him photoshopped into star trek and it says Kirk Trek on it. Kirkman is the man!!!!!!!!

In terms of personality and people skills, Tom is as worse as they come. He is pretty damn arrogant and the way he runs class is complicated. I've been sick a lot and he sure didn't want to help me out very much. He is quick to make you feel stupid or weird, and I've had too many awkward moments with him. I definitely wouldn't recommend him!!!!

He is definitely not a people person, and most definitely doesn't have any people skills. However, he's smart and a good teacher. Knows his stuff. Don't expect him to totally respect you, though. He may make you feel stupid. He might also not understand personal situations as well, which doesn't help if you get sick. Has robotic Emotions.....

He is about as knowledgable as they get. I tried for four years to stump him and I never once succeeded. The longest period of time he ever took to figure out a problem I asked was about 30 seconds, and I asked some tough questions. So he is beyond just intelligent.

Sooo full of knowledge! I really think he knows everything. Tough topics make it hard, but he'll aways help although never giving the answer. Ask him how to drink liquid nitrogen, I saw him drink it, but still can't believe it!
