Comment:

Zazi is a great professor who basically teaches you everything you need to know in the easiest way. In other words, he doesn't sugar coat things. Just tells you how to put it in the calculator and that's it. Pretty easy A, nice guy.

Comment:

What a funny little guy. The material was difficult for me, so I had to try a little harder for this class. However his quizzes, midterm, final all looked very similar to the homework so as long as you know how to solve it using the calculator you'll be fine! He makes a lot of funny side comments that made my class bearable.

Comment:

Really good professor. Took him over the summer, and was only graded on midterm final and homework. Final was multiple choice and a lot easier than the midterm. He has a good sense of humor and always let us out early. would take again.

Comment:

Pretty much had to teach myself the whole quarter because his notes don't correlate with the homework nor test/quizzes. He'll give you practice problems before a quiz so I suggest studying those. He babbles on too much, tries to be funny, and put every word he says on the board which was so unnecessary.

Comment:

Pretty easy class if you show up and take good notes that will help you do the homework. The homework code comes with the textbook. He gives you study guides for quizzes that are almost exactly like the quiz. The final was easy and multiple choice while the midterm required you to study the homework more in depth. Overall, great guy!

Zazi is more traditional in terms of his personality. He talked a lot about hating Bernie and AOC. Hes funny at times and tries to explain everything. If he has a bad impression of you, you definitely get a different side of him. Ive taken three classes with him and noticed that with people who dont show up or talk a lot in class so beware.

I had Professor Zazi for MAT 136 and 137 and he's amongst the best at DePaul. He's hilarious, but can be a stickler at times if students talk over him/are on their phones. Make sure you attend class and take good notes because he literally covers everything on the quizzes. It's certainly possible to get an A, but I bombed the final and got a B.

THE BEST prof at DePaul! Absolutely love him! Took him for MAT 135, 136 & 137. His lectures are straight forward & easy to understand if you pay attention & take notes. He will give you practice problems for the midterm and final, easy A if you do them - they are identical to the actual exams. Always looked forward to his class & his jokes!

Zazi is an awesome teacher. I took Calc 1 two years ago, and forgot basically everything. I took his Calc 2 class and it wasn't difficult at all. He gives you formulas when necessary on the quizzes. He provides study guides that are exactly like the test. I definitely recommend! (Didn't use the book but it is required to buy mylabsplus)

I have always sucked at math, but Prof. Zazi makes sure that people UNDERSTAND the material. First time having an A in math since 7th grade. Very humorous and cares about students. Don't use your phone and pay attention! EASY quizzes and gives study guides that are exactly like the midterm and final.

Didn't need textbook which is always appreciated. Lecture heavy but easy to understand. Class is a breeze if you take good notes, and do the homework. Use it to study!

I despise math, but Zazi made it bearable. I took 135, 136, and 137 with Zazi. You have to earn his respect by showing up, taking notes, and working for your grade, and even if you fail the midterm or final you'll pass with a B. Study for the weekly quizzes, midterm and final! Writes the formulas on the board during quizzes, midterm and final.

Took his night class, class always ended after 2 hours instead of the full 3, incredibly easy, weekly quizzes at the end of class, weekly online homework assignments, all exams and quizzes are entirely multiple choice, not the greatest teacher but it is so easy to get a good grade

Overall good proffesor. Theres a quiz each week on topic from previous week. Each quiz is 3-6 multiple choice questions and isnt that hard. Midterm & Final are harder then quizzes but nothing crazy. Lectures a lot so takr detailed notes. Would take again.

If you struggle with Calculus, take Zazi. The homework is very manageable and the quizzes (5 multiple choice questions for a total of 10 points) are easy if you did the HW and/or paid attention in class.

ZAZI GOAT - GREATEST. OF. ALL. TIME. Class consists of online homework worth 10% (drops lowest grade), Daily Quizzes worth 30%(drops lowest one), MIdterm 30% and final worth 30% . Zazi is a respectable guy who will do anything to make sure you are learning the material. If youre scared of taking Calc but need to pass? CHOOSE ZAZI.
