This class is your typical boring lecture. The actual material is not hard, he just designs the course so that your grade comes down to the few tests you take. Only take this prof if you are good at testing and are ready for very specific questions.

Mr. Campbell does care about geography, but his class overall was not that great. He gives your entire grade based off of 4 50 point tests. If you mess up one test, your grade is over and you might as well drop the class. He does give curves if everyone fails. The lectures relate very little to the tests and the questions are VERY specific.

This guy is eccentric, but not in a fun way. Pretty narcissistic really. To do well, take your time on and do all of the labs (big chunk of your grade) and study the textbook and labwork VERY WELL because the exams are way harder than you will expect. Also he loves embarrassing and calling out students to make himself feel superior so be prepared.

By far one of the worst professors I've had since attending EKU. The powerpoints consist of pictures of him on vacation and dont correspond with the exam. The class contains a total of 4 exams worth 50 points each. If you're not the best test taker, and happen to do bad on just one exam, than its extremely difficult to bring your grade back up.

If you are able to learn from strictly lectures and reading, you'll be fine. However, if your learning style falls anywhere outside of that, you may struggle. His lecture PPs hardly match the PPs given to students. Expects you to read 3hrs for 1 hr of class. The class grade comes only from 4 exams, if lucky, you may get a curve bc everyone fails.

Worst professor ever. His lectures are literally just pictures from vacations he has taken; however, his exams cover lots of specific questions about the material. He was very unorganized and always seemed really confused by his own lectures. Best part of this class was that we never met for the full time, if we met at all.

Great guy so don't give this to him lightly. This class however was terrible, I didn't learn a single thing that would be beneficial to me as a future teacher. lecture heavy and gives 4 tests that were not related in any class lectures and if they had relations there is so much material you wouldn't remember. Only passed because of curve

He is awesome, would definitely take again. Had a lot of fun in this class, honestly things were really easy. However, it was mostly cause of the class but I learned a lot! Thanks Dr. Campbell

Worst professor Ive ever taken. His lectures are just pictures of his travels and you learn very little of the material. Study guides are not given. Extra credit and help are not in his vocabulary. Lab work is completely unrelated to class lecture. Only positive is he gives small curves on tests. Would not recommend taking him if possible.

Professor Campbell is one of my favorite professors at EKU. He is really lenient with grading and both of our exams in that class (one at midterm and a final) were open book, open note exams. He is a really energetic and involved professor also. I would 10/10 recommend taking him for Geography

Do well on the labs and STUDY for the tests (he doesn't give you study guides and test material is not always available). DO THE WORD LISTS AND DO THE LABS, and you will pass the class. If possible, avoid this man at all costs. If not, take my advice.

Possibly one of the worst professors I have ever taken. He didn't help whatsoever, lab work made zero sense compared to class, and his classes were all about trips he had taken. After reading on here I decided to take his class but it was a mistake. DON'T TAKE IT UNLESS YOU HAVE TO

I really enjoyed Professor Campbell's class. It was more challenging than I assumed it would be, but Campbell is a nice guy who is more than willing to help. The tests were rather difficult but if you do well on the labs you will do fine.

Because of him, he taught me that not all information is spoon-fed to you. He really made me work for my grade. He warns you ahead of time to read the chapters and take notes prior to lecture. Utilize the review questions at the end of each chapter, because that's where his test questions come from. TAKE YOUR TIME ON ALL LAB WORK.

Terrible professor. Gets off-topic too much. He rarely discusses the content at length in his lectures, just shows pictures and tells stories from his travels. If he does feel like teaching, it'll be through out-dated YouTube videos. Expect to teach yourself the content from the textbook. He also doesn't offer meaningful help with lab-work.

Campbell is really funny, and lectures are easy to attend. The only grades in the class are tests and lab work that you can finish prior to class. Class is ALWAYS out early.

Mr. Campbell does tell lots of stories about his travels. But for the most part they are interesting. I took this class because it was required, and I had no desire whatsoever to learn about Geography. He actually made it interesting. He will help with labs if you ask for it. DO NOT USE YOUR PHONE IN CLASS! Lecture and tests don't match up though.

Mr Campbell likes to tell stories and if you pay attention in his class then his stories actually associate with what you are supposed to be talking about in class. You can pass his class if you put the effort into it on the Labs and to listen in class. If you just copy off a group member you WILL get a C or lower. He doesnt help with Lab questions

Mr. Campbell is a really nice guy with good stories, but his class is tough!! His tests are incredibly hard. You have to read the book to do well on them. He also is not very helpful when it comes to lab work, he doesn't give any explanation and just expects you to be able to do it on your own.
