More emphasis on law than econ. Gives three tests, all essay, so you must have strong writing skills. Gives questions and answers beforehand. No textbook. One of the best professors I've ever had!

Great class, straightforward, tells you what's on the tests waaayyy ahead of time and tells you what you need to know for the essays. Write what he tells you to and you will get an A

He's extremely unclear. You have to teach yourself pretty much everything, because he doesn't teach you, just reads his slides out loud. He really likes to brag about all the cases he was involved in, and gives you his papers to read. I still don't know what this class had to do with Economics. And all I learned I had to teach myself.

Took him for Law and Econ and absolutely loved the class. Harrison is brilliant, witty, and engaging. 80 - 100 is an A, and if you've got even a shred of writing skills you'll get at least a B. Pulled an A studying the night before/morning of each exam. Learned an immense amount. Great LOR source.

Class was kind of boring, but Harrison knows his stuff. There is no textbook, everything comes from his notes and lectures. There are 3 essay tests. If you read the cases and prepare an outline for each of the tests you should get an A.

Two tests: a midterm and a final. All essay, but if you study you can easily get an A. I studied like crazy (6 days non-stop) on average for a test and got a 100 each time. He is really funny, however he was really disrespectful when he talked about different countries…. Overall. I was a very satisfied consumer :)

The worst teacher I have ever had. He tries to impress you with stories of his life, but nobody cares. He takes favorites and encourages those who he likes and discourages others. His class is too subjective, so if his personality doesn't mesh with his, he takes it out on your grade.

All the negatives are people who didn't want to actually study. IT was really easy. You have the questions before you, you just need to prepare answers. My test grades were 90, 95, and 100.

This class is not hard if you do what he ask you to do. The test are easy (He gives you the questions a week ahead of the test), but you must prepare. As long as you pay close attention to how he wants things done this class should be a breeze. No HW Due.

The test are essay questions, you can find the answers from notes & books, but you have to apply more. You learn how to write essays with statisticals concepts. His grading scale is fair. There's HW but it doesn't count. He's funny though.

If you do not want to have homework and you are OK with statistics, take this class. Single question essay for tests. Essay material comes from lecture, powerpoint slides, and book. You will not learn much in this class, but his grading scale makes it up

Don't take this teacher. I dropped before the first test. This class is supposed to be math, and the test was ALL ESSAY, and I heard he took points off for spelling and grammer. He spent the entire class talking about a program that the tests.AVOID HIM!

Horrible, do not take this professor, I withdrew after the first test. He spent the entire time teaching about statistics software, but then tests you on other things. Enroll at your own risk!

Terrible teacher.Doesn't really teach or explain anything at all.Supposed to be a math orientated class, had us do essays for the test and told us to bring 2 blue books for them. Most people failed:( also look at his rating from University of S. Carolina

I just dropped his class because he is terrible. We haven't learned a single thing that applies to this course. Our first exam should have had math formulas and statistics, instead it was an essay. This guy should be fired. Don't take his classes.
