Sweitzer is really involved and obviously very passionate. Although the class was difficult, he was always quick-responding to emails and never turned me down when I asked for help, even if it was after class. For an entry level course, I felt it was really hard, but beneficial because I learned incredible amounts of material in such a short time.

Great prof if you do the work and really try for the assignments. You need to take time on projects, both photo and video assignments. It is difficult, but assignments are due every week, giving you time to work on it.

This is an intro level photography class. The lecture portion of the class is just him talking about future assignments, but he takes attendance so you have to go. If you know how to work lightroom you usually don't have to show up to the lab because you can do the assignment on your own. Pretty easy class. No tests or textbooks, just projects.

Didnt like the class at first, but he gives automatic 53 if you dont turn in an assigment, and attendance is 30 percent of the grade so if you show up you will pass. Assignments are easy overall, and Steve is helpful.

Comment:
Steve is one of the best professors I've ever had. He has a very delicate way of critiquing photographs and footage. Even when I didn?t turn in my best work, he focused on what was done right, which inspired me to try harder the next time. He has been in the business for a very long time and his tips really help out in the field.
