Dr. Sankaran is an amazing professor, he is warm and welcoming to all students. He encourages questions and takes the time to answer them. His tests were average in difficulty but he provides all the tools needed to pass. There is 1 long research report but he provides more than enough time to complete it with constructive feedback.

Dr. Gopal is one of the funniest and caring professors of all time. He's also ridiculously smart. had him for a week long summer class. One of the best experiences of my life. He's so laid back and chill. Seriously, take this professor. He wants you to succeed.

Took Gopal for a week long summer course. He's amazing. Easily best professor at WCU. He's hilarious. Caring. Lectures are interesting. He made an 8 hr class feel like a breeze. He even let us come late and leave early. He's so laid back and chill. Just wants you to learn, that's it. He's amazing.

Dr. Gopal is a very nice guy. This course is fairly easy if you have prior medical knowledge but I could see how it would be difficult without a background in the subject. Lots of material in the lectures, focus on the sample questions in the back of each chapter and utilize his study guides!

Just had Gopal for this Spring semester and it wasn't a bad class. He gives you at least 4 times to miss class, test are easy as long as you are reading the material in the book. He's so chill and laid back that it wouldn't be hard to get at least a B in this class. I would take him again if I had to.

Professor Gopal is a hilarious man, I took him during the summer and enjoyed being in his class. I got away with not buying the Textbook because the practice questions he posted online were the same for the test. Very informative and knowledgeable professor, definitely take him if you have the chance.

Start studying from the beginning, there are a lot of topics to be covered. He is truly knowledgeable and experienced. You will never be bored in his classes, he is funny, respects his students, and well liked by the students. Definitely recommended!

Gopal is a fantastic professor. He really cares about success of his students. His exams are tough, but he gives practice tests that have Q's similar to those on exams. Absolutely need the textbook, slides are based directly off the text. He gives out extra credit opportunities throughout semester. Definitely would recommend him!

Gopal is a great teacher! His class is hard but he makes it easy to understand. You can tell he really cares about the students, is passionate about the material and teaching. It is an all lecture class but he makes it easy to understand. He is a great teacher and I would recommend him for this class.

Dr. Sankaran is the best. He wants you to come to class and he wants you to make an honest effort on assignments. Tests are very easy because he focuses on making you learn through lecture and assignments. If you don't understand something, just ask. He loves when students ask questions.

He mixes things up and tries to keep things interesting. He is caring and understanding, lots of teachers in the HEA dept at WCU are awesome, he's one of them. Had him for weeklong summer course - I didn't get bored in the 8 hour, 8-5 class time period.

One of the BEST professors I've ever had. I took the 5 day course but would have really enjoyed a full 16 weeks with him. He was funny, made class interestering,& he is also very intellegent. You wanted to attend class just to listen to him. I wish he would teach all of my classes. He is a MUST HAVE TEACHER. and he is just an all around great guy.
