Best teacher you will ever have! if she is teaching a course, do everything you can to get into her class. she will not be teaching at Mt. Holyoke much longer, so don't miss out. she will be your favorite professor, and has been a favorite in the math department for many years. she is the best!

She is very, very helpful in office hours. She has gone out of her way to help me in every way possible. She is clear when she teaches material. I am not a math person, so this class has been as hard as hell. If you have to take math, take it with Harriet.

Harriet is a very sweet woman. BUT DO NOT TAKE INTRODUCTION TO ALGEBRA IF YOU LIKE MATH. I came in thinking I'd get to do actual algebra again, but the class is about cutting out squares and multiplying fractions. It's grade school again, but more boring.

wonderful professor, made calculus so easy to understand, and there are no surprises with quizzes and tests so it makes it easy to do well, second chances on all homework assignments, she really isn't about what grade you get, more set on making sure everone learns and understands the material, great teacher for those who struggle with math

Really great, even though the exercises in the book are much harder than aynthing she teaches in class. it gets kinda tough sometimes because she always insists on just giving hints instead of solving problems. but i still really enjoy her class.

It's like taking calc with your grandmother! She's very nice and incredibly understanding, but I agree with everyone on the point that she should not be mistaken for an easy grader. Class can be a little boring sometimes, but what do you expect? It's math (no offense to the math majors/enthusiasts).

Wonderful person, always willing to help however, I feel the book she chose for our class was an awful choice and I found that a majority of the class spent their evenings at extra help.Knows what she's talking about but has trouble conveying it to others
