Comment:

I really enjoyed taking this class. Hass was a great teacher. He is very to the point and has a unique personality that not everyone clicks with. However, he is always willing to help and answer questions. The homework is not graded, but if you keep up on the homework and ask questions you will do great in this class.

Comment:

For a 2.5 hour class he spend 2 hours reviewing the homework from last time because no one understood and he sucks at teaching. He will go off talking about random stuff and waste your time but when you ask a question he says he doesn't have time to answer. He then spends 25 mins making us take notes and in the last 5 mins of class actually teaches

Unbelievably rude and condescending. He refused to cover course work the class didn't understand. Rants and rambles about nothing and then continuously proclaims we don't have time and must rush through things. Doesn't show you why an answer is incorrect on any course work including tests. Worse professor I've ever had.

Hass was probably one of my favorite math teachers I've had. He loves calling on people in class but never rushes you and if you need help he helps you. There is a bit of homework after class every time but he will spend extra hours if you need his help. My class ended at 9:30 pm and stayed till 11:00 once for a student. He's honestly amazing

Hass has been one of my favorite professors I have ever had for a math class. His lectures are clear and help you understand problems very easily. Comes off rude but has no bad intentions. No other professor I have had has made me understand math the way he has. If you do the homework (which is optional) you will pass his tests.

He has a unique personality, some of the reviews might scare you. Math is hard, but he is the best math teacher I have had. He is blunt, he will tell you when you are wrong, but then he will explain why and how to fix it! He will spend as much time outside of class as you need, and the homework is not graded, but so helpful! A kind and funny guy!

Hass is AWFUL! I've never gotten below an A- in math, until I failed this class. He has pleasure in seeing people fail, the tests consist of the hardest problems w/in the chapter, multiple choice worth 10pts each, not covered in class. He makes you feel so stupid in the class if you don't understand or know the answer when he calls on you.

Hass is such a nice guy. He spends time before and after class helping students with questions and genuinely wants to help. He thinks he's pretty funny when he's not which makes it funny. He does call on people constantly, however, if you do not know the answer you just say so and he calls on someone else.

READ THIS! I am the type of person where I will work so hard in a class despite how bad the teacher is, because you're gonna have good and bad teacher so I usually just deal with it. Hassan is by far the most disrespectful, a hypocrite, and ignorant teacher I have ever met. He makes you feel stupid if you don't understand what he is teaching. cont.

Honestly, I don't know how he is even a professor. He talked too much about unrelated topics, so he never had time to finish the material. I had to look up every lesson on Youtube. There is no extra credit. The tests are more difficult than they need to be. Take Dr. Hite instead. You won't regret it. I don't even like Hass as a person. He's RUDE

Hass is probably the rudest teacher Ive ever had. He makes you feel stupid if you ask questions, yet says he welcomes them. His tests are difficult. No homework. He just solves the problem on the board without really explaining. I couldnt learn from him because he would humiliate me if I was still confused. Its a fast paced class

The BEST math teacher I have ever had! Hass is truly caring and very thorough, yes you do have to study and I do not recommend missing a class as you will miss some very important information. Your homework isn't graded, but do not let that be an excuse to not do it as you will fail the tests. Hass was always willing to stay late & answer questions

This professor is costing the college money. The first day of class, all he did for an hour and a half, was talk about himself. We barely had time to go over the modules. In fact, we didn't. He provided us with the answers, but did not explain how to get the solution. I now know it's important to look up professor ratings before registering.

Hass is an amazing professor. This was my first semester in college (summer). I graduated from high school 10 yrs ago so I was afraid to jump back in, but he was by far my favorite professor out of the 6 classes that I had this semester. I took the accelerated course, but I didn't have trouble keeping up because he was very thorough in his lectures

This teacher is very nice. He does like to brag a lot about how cute his cats are, but he likes his students, and is also passionate about his job. He may seem rude at the beginning but later you will find out that he just likes to joke a lot. He never gets offended when you share your opinion. you will enjoy it. math won't be boring with him.

Hass takes some getting used to at first, so don't get scared off. He really cares, starts & ends class on time, & never leaves the building till all your questions are answered. Helps you take good notes but study your book as well. He doesn't grade the hw; if you won't do hw because of that, don't take his class. Otherwise, take his class!!

Unless you are extremely good at math I would suggest not taking from this professor. He doesn't prepare you to succeed. Plus he can be rude. Homework is not graded, pop quizzes are hard and he doesn't explain things very clearly. Towards the end of the semester we only have about 12 students left. I would suggest taking from someone else.

Responses when asking a question from Hass; "That's too easy, I wont answer it" "Where you born early?" "Do you ever read your notes" "I'm not going to answer that" "I already answered that in chapter...." "Was it on the homework?... Then no I wont answer that" The problem is, I never rcv'd an answer to my questions.

Hass made learning fun and motivated me to get a good grade. He helps a lot with test anxiety and is very relatable.
