Comment:

Professor Rodriguez may come across as rude at times, but only when it is clear that most people failed to do the reading or no one is participating in class. His class is almost entirely discussion of Supreme Court cases so reading them from the book is essential. 2 case briefs, midterm, and final are all very upfront with detailed review sheets

Comment:

Prof. Rodriguez is nice but sometimes he appears to be a bit condescending and rude in class. if you talk to him after class he is nice and actually listens to you. He makes you work for your grade and he is a fair grader. He gives only 1 midterm, 1 final, and 2 case briefs (Pass or fail). He gives you a review sheet and participate in class.

This guy is awesome. The class can be extremely easy if you just memorize some terms. Take one night before the test...thats what i did. The final was a little more annoying but that was only because of the essay part (16 pages or whatnot.) You can really learn a lot from him. TAKE HIM IF YOU CAN

Comment:

The class was hard. The prof. left much up to his students but if you asked him for help he was there for you(he gave out his personal cell number). We had to understand and apply the opinions of US S. Ct. cases and that was the difficult part. I enjoyed it because it really helped me understand much of what would be expected of me in law school.

Really great professor. He gives homework questions for each chapter. Attending class definitely helps because class discussions help clarify the chapters. The exams are pretty straight forward and as long as you really know the cases and study chapters from the review sheet, you can definitely get an A. Highly recommend this professor.

Not very helpful.. most of the class is up to you to figure out. If you make a point that he doesn't like he'll literally ignore you spoke and go to the next subject. Not my favorite class but I did learn from it.

He likes to embarass the students. Never gives anything back. Asks questions & if he doesn't like it, you'll get the dumb look. You can teach yourself, did not learn anything. Picks on students all the time. Wants you to give an opinion, even if you don't have 1. Don't recommend him. You'll just cry!!

The 1st day-nice, then on-annoying jerk. He's a judge, w/ 2PHDs, yet you would never know it, because he is a joke-cant speak/spell English. He calls on students, then bothers/picks on them, never satisfied, wont answer questions, gets nasty, 2much to deal w/ The book is basically the course, so why bother going to class ? You can teach yourself.

Excellent teacher, I got an A and didn't even study that hard. Very clear easy going and fun. Never any hw and always lets you out of class early. Lots of debates and makes the information easy to learn and understand. I wish I could take him for every class !

He's a judge, how much more knowledge in this field can you ask for! He's great,I learned a lot and he makes class time a fun experience.He does like to challenge your knowledge of reading materials and does court role plays. This is a must take if you want to experience fun learning!!!
