You will hear lots of students complain that she is too hard but in truth, it's because they are lazy and don't want to write essays or put forth the effort. I left her class with the ability to write an outstanding essay in 30 minutes. I love the map she uses and her transitional words and phrases sheet. Take her if your intention is to learn.

Love Ms. Mello, she lets you know right off the bat that she is not a push over, but she will notice if you are trying and she will work with you. I believe my skills have improved in her class. She knows how to keep your attention, and her way of teaching should never change.
