Mostly relies on powerpoints, he lectures too fast, and is unorganized. He is a good guy and wants the best for his students but for me this class was my least favorite. I have always been a fan of math, but with his lecture style it made it hard to enjoy the class and therefore hard to understand.

Professor Johnson really wants all of his students to do well. He is always there to give extra help and explains things very well in different ways. The study guides are exactly like the tests. Amazing professor and so funny.

Took calc in high school and struggled. He literally makes the concepts so simple and straightforward. Study guides match the tests. There's mymathlab which is kinda annoying, but if you keep a high score it accounts for 10% of your grade which is nice.

This man is literally the definition of GOAT. He honestly made math so much easier than it should be, and also sices you with so much stuff. If you have to take calc, take him.

I took the same math class with another professor a semester before him, and the difference between the two is literally night and day. He actually teaches the material and makes sure you understand it, and his tests follow his study guides almost exactly. If I had to take another math class, I would 100% take him again!

One of the best teachers I've had yet. This was my first semester after transferring. My math is not the greatest, but I went to almost every office hour and either go over my the work from class, hw, quizzes, and test. I really suffered from have taken algebra over 3 years ago. Attend class, office hours, and do hw. He curves test and quizzes!

Henry is a wonderful individual. My grade, however, is not. It isn't his fault; he's a really nice guy and really knows his stuff. 10/10 would recommend, but only if you HAVE to take calculus. Calculus is one of the worst things to happen to me.

Johnson is a great professor who is very passionate about math and very available to meet with students if they have any issues at all in class. Tests are straightforward and his lectures/notes are comprehensive and helpful. The worst part about this class was MyMathLab, but that may change from semester to semester. Overall, I highly recommend!

I'm not a fan of math at all, but I genuinely enjoy going to Mr. Johnson's class and I think it's actually fun too. He is very understanding and will make sure you understand the content. He's also funny, which is always a bonus.

Professor Johnson is just overall very good at teaching. He teaches things step by step and stresses the main concepts over and over so that things never get undoable. One of the best math professors Ive had, especially since this class is more theoretical than quantitative. He cares about your understanding of the material.

I enjoyed taking him. Goes a bit fast, but speak up and he'll reiterate. His lectures are mostly going through example problems. I felt like math was being preached to me lol. Pay attention because he likes to interact with the class. Do all assignments and you'll be prepared for tests.. something I should've taken more seriously!

Extremely accommodating and understanding. A decent lecturer who gets the job done (not the best). He'll replace your lowest test grade with your final. Don't miss class more than 3 times or he drops a point from your grade. Pretty solid amount of homework and tests have varied on difficulty but have been on the easier side.

I passed AP calc in high school and then took Johnson's Math 200 class and did well, but his lectures focus more on working out examples than explaining concepts so it's not ideal if you've never seen the material before. Overall great teacher and willing to work with you if you have questions. Attendance is part of the grade and very important!

So much work, theres online homework along with in class homework and quizzes. There are 4 tests and the final, he drops a lot of grades but he doesnt teach well. Skips a lot of steps and if you miss it once you'll struggle for the rest of the year. His study guides are a 1 in difficulty on a scale from 1-10 and his tests are a 10. Attendance req.

Mr. Johnson is extremely funny and cares about teaching his students properly. The course itself is pretty difficult, but put in the effort and time and you'll be fine. There's a lot of group homework and classwork. Normal homework is through MyMathLab.

Henry P. Johnson was recommended to me by two of my suite-mates, and oh boy were they right. The man is a math wizard, he walks through the material step by step, and tests exactly what he teaches. He engages the class, and fosters an environment were it's okay to answer questions incorrectly, he just wants people participating. Show up to class.

He really knows how to teach well, but if you don't ask questions he assumes you understand and will continue teaching at a quick pace, so if you don't understand something be sure to ask.

The class is very easy if you have decent math skills. He explains everything very well and truly wants everybody to succeed in his course. Attendance is a must because he has in class homework assignments that add up to a test grade, but I missed a couple and let me turn them in late with no penalty.
