Comment:

Dr. Jordan is hands down the most caring, fair and best professor for MATH122. His way of teaching math as a language and methods of explaining complex calculus theories and examples are designed for everyone to able to not only understand, but actually learn the material. Trust me, take this class because I promise you wont regret it!

He made 8:30 lectures fun to go to. A really good thing about him is that he cares for his students A LOT. His study guides are also very similar to the exams.

Dr. Jordan is THE MOST helpful professor. He wants you to pass and will do anything to help. Calculus can get hard, but he makes learning it fun and exciting. If you don't do great on a test, go to his office hours and he'll give you points back on problems that you fix. TAKE THIS MAN!

Prof. Jordan is the sweetest man ever. He is great at what he does and genuinely cares about his students' success. I took this course as an 8:30 and while those are never fun, Prof. Jordan is. I learned a lot from him this semester.

Okay guys, I have always SUCKED at math and never thought I'd pass math 122 because I failed it last semester and retook in the summer and had him. He is THE BEST, most caring, and funny professor I've ever had. He is so great at explaining math and actually wants his students to pass and you will if you give effort in the course. TAKE HIM!!!

LITERALLY THE BEST. He explains everything so well and really wants everyone to succeed. I took Math 122 last semester with a different prof & didn't pass because that prof was awful and Dr. Jordan is sooo much better. There's a lot of extra credit with online quizzes and you can go to office hours and get points back on all of your exams!

Professor Jordan is great! his lectures at first are a bit hard to follow, but you will get the hang of it. He is happy to help with any problem just make the effort to see him. His tests follow the review pretty closely. Follow the review and attend SI and the tests should be a breeze.

Sweetest old man ever. He is not the best at teaching and can be disorganized with notes in class. The material can get confusing, but he won't let you fail the class. He gave me points back on tests even though I got the questions wrong and gave me an A in the class even though I didn't deserve it.

Absolutely loved Dr. Jordan! He might not be the best math prof I've had but he is super helpful when you go to his office hours. He gives day test on blackboard that are an easy A and they all add up for an extra test grade. I would highly suggest him if your not the best at math because he will make sure your pass his class!

I've never been someone who enjoys math and it definitely does not come easily. With that being said, I looked forward to MATH122 with Dr. Jordan, even at 8:30a. Make an effort to get to know him and he will do the same t when it comes to your grades. His office hours are basically tutoring sessions and he will give you back missed points on exams

I failed this class the 1st time around, and retook it with Dr. Jordan and couldn't be happier. He is insanely sweet and cares about student success. He rounds you up by about 10% on test corrections just by going to discuss it with him. He makes calc simplified and easy to understand.

Dr. Jordan was an awesome professor. He really does take time to learn his students and will go the extra mile if-need-be. The lectures in this class are thorough but in some ways, unoriganized. If you miss a day or two of class, and pick up on math well, the textbook does a good job of keeping pace with the class and how he teaches.

He is amazing!! If you are pretty good at math, I would recommend taking him. He gives extra credit. Buy an older version of the textbook, and save yourself money because he tends to use the older one. He gives a practice exam. He makes class interesting and really cares about his students and tries to get to know everyone. Take him!!

Funny guy, always keeps the lecture interesting. He reviews at the beginning of every class and always comes in saying "This is not your ordinary math class, this is your friendly math class" The only thing I did not really like about him is that you have to get used to the way he teaches, it is a little unorganized. Take neat notes and go to SI!

Phenomenal math professor. He really cares about students showing up and loves participation, so if you have good attendance and he can see you have put forth effort to the course you shouldn't have a problem making the grade you want. I am not a math major but did well in the class. Homework is optional, and the tests follow the study guides.

Comment:

Don Jordan is a very sweet professor. He had 3 tests and a couple hw assignments. Got two 85's and one 95 on his test. Failed his final exam and finished at first with a C then he bumped it up to a B. He is a very caring professor, although his lectures can get a little unorganized and confusing sometimes. 9/10

Dr. Jordan is a fine and fair professor. Don't show up expecting to get an A, but he definitely does everything he can to make sure that those who work hard can get an A. Sometimes will change office hours from what they are on the syllabus but emails in advance if that is the case. Definitely would recommend.

BEST TEACHER EVER. Seriously, if youre as bad at math as I am, you will appreciate him! He truly cares and I learned so much in this class. I was dreading this course, but this is the first math course that I actually learned and retained the material in.
