Where did they find this guy? Extremely sarcastic and rude, has poor teaching strategies and uses inconsistent grading rubrics! Furthermore, his lectures are useless. You are on your own in this course. Read the book thoroughly and form groups in order to pass this course with this professor.

He is unfair, does not teach anything he puts on the test, frustrates & stresses students with a mostly do-it-yourself routine & takes off points on tests for the most ridiculous things. This is quite a useful class but it requires someone who actually knows how to teach. Hanks is definitely NOT the man for the job. I would rate him -5 if i could.

I would not recommend to anyone I know. The class is ok if you are a bookworm and don't care about lectures. He is not helpful at all and his the most sarcastic instructor I met so far.

such a lazy professor. you will not learn anyhting from his class. never keep his promise. made the last minute change. For exmple, he'll count final exam 60% of total grade and let u know a week before the test. he does not teach at all. i don't know why UHD hire him. Lazy Lazy guys

I recommend any student that is thinking about taking this teacher to go immediately to registration and drop. This particular does not have a teaching style and you do not learn any thing at all in his class. You are better off teaching your self instead of going to college & paying tuition for a professor who does not care if his students learn

ALL Finance Courses....I have had him for 3 different FIN classes total so far. His teaching style straight out of the book uses Powerpoint Presentation (out of book)..Overral u have to study ur Tail Off..If u don't u will fail..The test are hard alot of theory if u dont understand the theory just drop it if u do then great u will be fine.

I'm in his class right now, and its really hard. If you can, just avoid him in general. He's interesting and does mumbles but when you ask a question, he'll treat you like a little kid and starts being rude to you.

Would not recommend, he does not create his exams which is why the exams do not cover what he "teaches" Mumbles frequently so he is hard to understand, often goes off on tangents. Never really prepared for class upon arrival.

Not a horrible professor but be prepared to read and study the material. He is confusing about what will be on the exams which makes studying difficult. A very nice man, unlike some of the ratings. He drops the lowest of 3 exams and the project is an easy grade. He curves and gives a possible 108 points on some exams. We also had 1 take home exam.

Worst profesor I have ever taken. Not usually afraid of a tough professor, but this guy just doesn't care. He doesn't teach you what he tests you over, and he is very sarcastic. Take someone else for this class! There are better professors at UHD.
