Before coming to college, I wasn't a fan of chem. But after taking his course, I'm considering changing to a chem major. His lectures, clickers questions, and extra practice problems are very helpful for preparing for tests. I also recommend going to PAL sessions for further clarification. (His music trivia and Friday chem jokes are added bonuses)

Really great guy. Lectures are fun and engaging, although he expects you to participate via clicker questions. Will explain material to you individually if you need it.

Ted is one of my favorite Profs this semester. If you do the assignments he recommends, like the extra problems on moodle and read for understanding, the class will be a lot easier. If you need help, he gives very good feedback on what you should do to improve.

Best Science prof at Morris! He's always willing to help and is super great with explaining information if you need extra help. Don't be late or he will publically shame you! Also, don't try to ask questions in class though- he lookes at the ceiling for 90% of class and probably won't see you. Laugh at his jokes and you're good to go!

Started out a decent teacher, but realized it was because I knew the material already. Rushes through newtough material, talks fast. Cool demos. Doesn't give out mandatory homework, but would've been nice to help understand material. Read the book before class. Do practice problems. Sometimes gives textbook definitions to explain material; quirky

Ted is a great professor. Although I slept through most lectures, they're really easy to follow. He usually has clicker questions which are great review. If you put an answer in, it's an automatic 23 points and 33 if it's correct. He also has music trivia in the beginning of class and a joke on Fridays. I highly recommend him!

Helpful and competent. Though this course is difficult, he makes himself available to help. Pretty chill guy, but lab reports for him suck.

Even though the class wasn't easy, Ted's still a good professor. He prepares his lectures well and is very organized, which I feel is a good indicator of competency.

First off, I am NOT a chem major; there's a reason for that. However, teachers/profs in the science department have almost always been my favorite. Ted is very approachable, and he does his best to present the material clearly. (As per jokes, I don't think they're a good indicator of a professor.) Oh, and he played Nirvana one morning. Good day...
