Amazing lecturer. People stop in the halls to hear him lecture. He is a strong personality, and I have heard of people who don't get along with him; but if you get over your ego and go to his class to learn - and are willing to work - you will love it.

While he essentially called me a homophobe without knowing I live a queer lifestyle, because I used 'they' in reference to the gay community, and had the class in agreement with him (I excused myself to prevent tears from showing), I learned the most passionate lessons about the socio-political importance of the arts from him (with great plays)!
