Professor Jones is a handful. Not only are her papers roughly graded, but she assigns papers on topics of her interest that are extremely hard to write about in length(can be up to eight pages). Although this did not happen to me personally, she will call out students in class on their writing skills and embarrass them purposely.

She is not all bad, but she is very difficult. Did not understand entirely what she wanted. She was very vague with that and the research and critique assignment. Will criticize you if you have a different opinion from her and will grade accordingly to that. Horrible at returning grades on time for assignments . I am just happy I passed

She talks ALOT so be ready for that . She doesnt stay on topic and its really annoying. Her class is relatively easy as long as you do the work. You wont have homework so thats a plus but you will have to remember the stories we read in class because every one is on the final .

She cares about the subjects she teaches, which is good, but she shows less care for students. Despite being liberal, she's closed-minded. Opinions that differ from hers, even in small ways, are often met with long, rude, lectures about why you're wrong in public forum. Hateful comments about failing students and grades are common. Avoid.

She is the best and you will do great in her class she is always accessible outside of class. The only way you can fail is if you don't do the work. Anytime she has office hours please go and see her because she has helpful information waiting. Just do the work and ask for help if needed and be sure to read read read!!

Dr. Jones is a great professor ! I received my very first A in English, in her class. Be prepared for class. Get the necessary materials ! Don't use your cell phone ! Ask for help if needed ! Be attentive & engage in classroom discussions. She wants to see all of her students do well , but it's up to each student what their destiny will be.

I really enjoyed her class, she actually inspired to start reading again. She makes her discussion really fun. She can come intimidating at first, but if you stick it through you'll find yourself really enjoying the class.

Great Teacher. Her humor can be offensive but don't take it the wrong way. Its a community in a classroom so be yourself. She is a bit crazy but cool. Email her if you have any questions with the novels and papers you read and do. Not many papers so do you ultimate best you can. She wants you to read and continue to read even after the semester end

Dr. Jones was definitely a character but overall a very good professor. She's very inspirational and also a feminist. The life lessons are ones to remember. Just turn in all of your assignments and show your interest in them & you'll easily ace the class.

Best teacher ever! She most definitely makes you work for your grade, but she's always more than happy to help you. She covers a lot of material during lecture, so attendance is essential to pass. I would absolutely take her class again!

OKAY!!!! This was my very first class, my first semester (after transferring in) and on day one.....She scared the hell out of me and I think the entire class. Day two: she says " of look, I already weeded out who wasn't going to make it!" Hands down, best professor at FMU! I actually nominated her as professor of the year! PLEASE TAKE! She rocks!!

I loved Ms. Jones Class , She is a very open person and she is HILARIOUS! She's willing to help out if you dont understand. For my first assignment I admitted that I slightly plagiarized and she gave me an hour to re-submit the assignment to her with my own thoughts ! overall she's great !

Im currently taking Dr.Jones for ENG 250 and I love her ! She makes going to class worth it , she is hilarious and she just wants you to put fourth an effort and think critically ! Dont try to agree with her or give "textbook" answers as long as you give her what you really think the rest of the class is easy to pass !

Dr. Jones is a great teacher. She challenges all of her students to think critically and to write for themselves. She is very honest and does not mind sharing her opinion. You will have to work hard in her class but it's worth it in the long run.
