On the days that Zoller did show up to class, he showed up late, and took long, unexcused breaks in the middle of class. I and my fellow students spent most of our time doing pointless busy work. Zoller is one of the least motivated professors I have ever known. I'm sure he's good at what he does, but if you're not taking Poetry, watch out.

Dr. Zoller was one of my favorites! He is not the most entaining lecturer, but as a one-on-one advisor or in smaller upper-level classes he is excellent! Wonderful wordsmith, excellent insight and critique of the written word.

He brings humor into the class room which is a relaxing feeling when you're stressed out. He may be confusing at times, but he is willing to go over things and make it clear. He's an easy grader and the reason why I changed my major to English.

I had Zoller for both semesters of Senior Writers Workshop. He was pretty hands off, which I appreciated since the whole point of the class is to be self-motivated. He's a bit moody and hard to read, but helpful, understanding, and funny in an off-center kind of way. He gave me A's, for which I offer most humble thanks. Thank you, Prof. Zoller.
