Prof Cook is great. Hes a mix of Bill Nye the Science Guy and Mr. Rogers, kinda hot, if your into that sort of thing

Comment:

Prof. Cook is a solid if somewhat uninspring teacher. His comments on written work are good, but his preperation for class sometimes seems lacking. His assignments are slightly less than average in terms of difficulty but his grading is a bit tough. His lecturing also clearly reflects his past work in the bureacracy of the government.

Professor Cook is an enthusiastic professor that leads great discussions. He does not give tests or homework, but does assign several short writing assignments and many readings. He grades fairly and leaves high-quality comments on written work. Take a class with Professor Cook, you won’t regret it.

Comment:

Professor Cook is a great professor and easier the ratings indicate. He grades fairly. On each paper he returns, he lists praises and suggestions for improvement. He is passionate about his teachings. Cook does not give homework or tests, but gives occasional essays (10 pages max.) and many readings. I highly recommend Professor Cook.

Comment:

Cook grade harshly, but fairly. When he grades, he types a list of things done well and suggestions for improvement. He cares about what he teaches, argues passionately in class, and is not afraid to tell students when they are wrong. There were no tests. I can’t recommend this professor enough.

Comment:

Professor Cook is a good man. He genuinely cares about his students and goes out of his way to help them. My Clark experience would have been far different had Brian Cook not been my advisor and professor.

Professor Cook is the nicest, most helpful and most knowledgeable professor in the government department. Granted, Research Methods is not a good course, but Professor Cook is otherwise ideal. Fair and balanced, he cares about students and their opinions
