Comment:

I personally did not have a good experience with her. I emailed her many times over the semester with no reply to any. The group work days and group presentation are crucial to be in attendance for. Be sure to go to class and be ready for pop quizzes. It is overall not a bad class, but if you need to get a hold of her be sure to go to her office.

Comment:

Very nice and funny. As long as you show up and do the work, its easy to ace. There are two large group projects/presentations but they're doable. All exams are taken online from home and you can get most of the answers through googling and using CTRL+F. She gives a participation grade and you can miss 3 classes without an adverse effect on that.

Comment:

Overall, Floyd isn't bad. Very nice and puts forth an effort to make her long lectures somewhat interesting. All tests are online, but can be a bit tricky, but Google helps with that. ;) She has class group activities, so build up those social skills now! I myself didn't really find the class interesting, but the class itself is not all that hard.

She gives 4 exams total online. (fairly hard if you don't read the definitions in the book) She does at least try to make the lectures bearable by having class activities. Quite a few extra credit opportunities. Get ready for group work! She doesn't like tardiness. Overall, I'd give her a 4/5. She wasn't spectacular, but she's better than most.

Enjoyed this course a lot. Her lectures are really long, but they're interesting if you can just get in to them. She doesn't take that many grades, which is unfortunate because the couple tests that you take online are very difficult. You will not pass them unless you read the chapter and pay attention in class. Other than that, it's awesome.

I enjoyed this class, the only bad thing I really have to say about it is her tests are very difficult and the questions can be very tricky. Class is very interesting and she is very nice just hard exams.

Mrs. Floyd is great! My management class was a lot of fun. She assigns group projects, but they go smoothly with the right team. She makes class interesting and worth coming. Would recommend!!

Floyd is a very good teacher, however, her lectures are a little boring. Additionally, she loves group work... I would take her again because she does clearly cover every subject she expects you to know. Lastly, two of her tests you get to take at home! Can't beat that. :p

An amazing professor. She encourages class participation and calculates an attendance/participation grade so attendance is important. All tests are online and open book/open note with the exception of the final. There are two case analysis presentations which aren't too difficult if you have a halfway competent group.

Floyd made this business class harder than it needed to be. I would definitely buy the book, you will use it for case analysis presentations. Attendance is crucial because you only do like 4 assignments and the rest of your grade is calculated by your attendance. She is a good teacher though. Class is stress free. She has interesting activities.
