Comment:

Class is doable once you decipher the weekly work pattern. Weekly tasks seem like much, but they are short 2-3 paragraphs. Feedback that sharpened my learning. There are ample extra credit assignments, and unlimited tries at Quizzes. Professor allowed us to voice concerns related to COVID crisis.

This class is tough. We had a weird semester though in the middle of a pandemic and Dr. Stuntz really was very compassionate and accommodating.

Comment:

By far the absolute WORST professor I have ever had! The class is set up to where you read two chapters from two each week, answer a discussion post by 5:00pm on Thursday and it continues with responding to a peer everyday by 5:00pm or you do not receive any credit. There is no actual teaching or assistance what so ever because her class is online.

By far the worst teacher Ive ever had! Im doing well in the class but its time consuming. Her grading is inconsistent and not logical. She continues to preach about following the syllabus but when you do follow it, she will give a poor grade and her comments indicate shes looking for something else. Sad that teachers like this exist!

Its a hard class, she grades hard, but If you read the chapter every week and use critical thinking instead of just regurgitating information, you will pass. There are extra credit opportunities given every week. Take advantage of those!!! If you don't put in the work and time you won't pass. Plain and simple, you have to work for your grade.

Comment:

Worst professor I've ever had. This class took up all my time, daily check ins, readings, videos to watch, and papers to write. Seriously too much work for a 3 hour credit. I like history and she made me hate it within the 2 weeks I was in her class. 10/10 would rather go jump in a pile of cacti than take her class.

I don't see why people this this professor is awful. Just follow the instructions and meet the deadlines and you pass. You can take the quiz as many times as you want. You have to make four posts each week in the discussion board and there is a fun extra credit for every chapter. The final exam is open to work on as you go.

There are no lectures at all for the online class. It is a discussion every week with three replies and a quiz. I received a zero on a discussion board post because I completed everything before the last due date.

The discussion forums are graded extremely hard, the class started full (around 40 people) not there are less than 10. I do NOT recommend.

Worst teacher I have ever had. The class consisted of a quiz and blog over each chapter. No Lectures, just reading. He was every strict on my blogs when I provided the correct information needed. I am a A student and made a C in his class. If you get the chance to have him I would recommend not taking him. Save yourself the trouble

The worst teacher I ever taken. I am A students, but I almost got F in her class. I could not drop her class because I did not have credits. Plz stay away from her if you want to get F.

worst teacher I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with; she should honestly be fired, i got zero useful feedback, the discussions had zero guidance meaning they all devolved into basic summarization and self service; the book is utterly terrible in every way, and the weekly questions are the same every single week. she should be fired. I am an honors student, and took her online HIST 1301. Should've been easy. With her odd grading, and refusal to follow her own syllabus, she refused to respond to my emails questioning her teaching and rules. I dropped her class due to having a C, despite having followed all rules (which she admitted). Avoid her if possible, it's not a fun class.

I'm one of those students who never has mean things to say about professors,but I cant stand this woman. She is a horrible grader and dosn't read your answers fully. She likes to riddle her students, and set them up for failure on the first syllabus quiz. I would've dropped this class if it wasn't required. If you're reading this DO NOT TAKE HER.

Online class of British History - There are no instructor notes or power points to help you understand what is expected from you as a student as far as content or analysis of information. Feedback is not specific enough to help you know what to do on the following assignment. She know her stuff I guess but she doesn't share it with the students.

Comment:

Try to avoid this class if possible, she is such an inconsistent grader its ridiculous. Expect discussions due every week which will take up a lot of your time. One week I got a 50 and the next I got a 96 and then back to 60 the next week, and I have no clue what I did differently.
