Dr. Thomas is a really great guy and his classes are fun to attend, but you only have a midterm and a final for tests and you have to create a website about everything you have done during his class. Absolutely go above what is expected for the website or you wont do very good. Overall good class, just make sure you work hard on the projects.

This class seems completley pointless as an on-campus course. Since the class is instructional technology 95% of what you do is online. This class could easily become an online class and save a lot of trouble. It's much easier to sit on my computer at home, than to drive to campus, and sit in a classroom on a computer.

This class was fairly easy, except for the tests. Dr. Thomas asks ridiculous questions about unimportant info that we would never remember or that we couldn't study. I wish he spent more time talking about science CONTENT instead of online resources. There are plenty of other classes in which we learn how to integrate tech into the classroom.

Jeff Thomas was my graduate assistant teacher years ago before he received his doctorate degree, and I found him to be one of the best teachers I have ever had. Thank you very much Jeff for your help and patience as I was learning geology. You made it very interesting and fun!! :)

I'm young, not that attractive, and definitely not a female...and this prof is one of my favorites, and not because he's easy...the class can be somewhat difficult at times.

Great teacher if you are a young, attractive female. If not, you're on your own. Class is nothing but his stupid FOSS kit projects. Schools can't even afford FOSS kits. Waste of time. Tests were ridiculous. Write down every word he says or you will be lost. I'm still trying to figure out what the point of the class was?

He is my advisor and he is absolutely wonderful! He is totally compassionate and will be late for his meetings just so that he can help you with your problems, even if you brought it on yourself. Greatest advisor you could have and I've only heard great things about his classes. I can't wait to take one of them.

He is very nice and eager to help. He has a lot of experience, and knows what he's talking about, too. Definitely easy on the eyes, unlike most of the other male teachers at this school. Highly recommended!
