I took him in 1969 (really), his influence is still with me. Brilliant, many stories to illustrate his points, fascinating. I could listen to him for hours (and did). Easy tests, don't remember mandatory attendance, but I went for the joy of it. The guy's a legend. Go with an open mind.

very intelligent prof., but incredibly repetetive, so you don't always need to go to class. if you can pick which time you take the class take it in the afternoon, because i took it in at 8 in the morning and never wanted to go! exams are really easy too!

This class and professor were absolutely phenomenal. He really knows his stuff; can enrich lectures with actual case studies. Freud's book was translated very badly, but the other ones were very interesting-- I don't even want to sell back one of them!

he's brilliant! his class was so interesting and enjoyable, and i learned a lot! he also tapes all of his lectures and makes them available to students in the library. his exams were really reasonable, too!

Every class session after the first week contained the same anecdotes and message, including "drug companies are out to get you." If you dont want to take a Freudian course, take a different professor for 280.

I had Dr. Karon for PSY 330 & 280. I took them at the same time and I definitely recommend doing it that way - the classes cover very similar material and it cut my study time in half. I thought the courses were pretty easy
