I personally think Steele is a great professor. If you take good notes and study them for the test youll be fine. If you struggle in his class youre just lazy.

His methods for taking tests are unfair to us students. We receive a review sheet of 10 essay questions, each essay questions contains 3-4 questions on their own in each question, then he picks 5 questions(without telling us) and then has us pick 2 from those 5 to do. To me, that's unfair to the student because it was difficult finding the time.

I didn't mind this class at all. His lectures were long, but he knew his information. It helps a lot to read the chapters and put a little effort into it. He went along with what was in the textbook and gave more information and details, which helped with the tests he gave. If you don't want to put the effort in, I wouldn't bother with the class.

Very demanding teacher. Takes a very long time to grade things. I asked how I could improve my grades in the course and after 3 weeks got a very vague response. I responded and didn't get a response for another 3 weeks. Had to go through the dean to get a refund because they found out he had the course on autopilot with modules closing early.

A weird teacher but it's an ok class. Gives map quizzes all the time that are so easy to get a 100 on. Also gives homework to do a multiple choice question on each chapter which is also very easy to get good grades on. It only takes you a few minutes and you basically don't even have to read the chapter

My friend and I literally passed notes to each other all semester and I finished this class with a 93 average. I never opened the book. As long as you keep his boring voice in the back of your head, this may be the easiest class to pass.

The class sounded interesting so I signed up to take it on the internet. I have to say that 95% of the assignments were just dumb and he loaded us up with extra research assignments....way to much and sometimes hard to follow or give him what he is looking for.
