Comment:

Can be tough at times but truly cares about his students. If you show up and take good notes you should be just fine. He try's to scare the students at first but if you need any assistance he doesn't hesitate at all to help. Just a pretty cool old guy in general who just teaches because he loves it.

Comment:

Good teacher. Moves through material pretty fast but always willing to help if you have questions. Assigns homework but doesn't grade it, it helps you if you do it though. Test and quizzes are the only grades but they're fairly easy if you understand the material.

Comment:

Mr. Reid was s great math professor! He gave us homework, but never graded it. It was up to you whether or not you wanted to practice some problems. All of our grades were open note quizzes and tests. Super cool guy that was always willing to help.

He was by far my favorite professor this semester. He really cares about his students and he wants them to be successful. He gives long lectures but the whole time he just works out problems and it actually was the best way for me to learn. Best math teacher I have ever had.

He teaches very fast. Expects you to know things already. He wants to help you but sometimes if you ask a question he makes you feel stupid or acts like you already should have known the answer, instead of helping through the problem. Only grades are tests and quizzes, which wasnt good for me considering Im a bad test taker. He gets confused alot

He's not too easy, but can be difficult to understand. His test are always composed of story problems that always caused me problems. He also likes to pick on people. Avoid eye contact with him and he will never ask you a question.

I agree that he comes off hard, but I honestly think he cares about his students passing. His sense of humor can be kind of dry at times, but I think he has your best intentions at heart. I'm not that great at math, and I got a C for the semester without doing any homework. He's a good professor that wants you to pass!

I liked this teacher a lot. No Math XL stuff and no homework. He allows note on quizes and sounds like the dinosaur off of Toy Story to me. I reacommend him to people who are no good at math but what to pass it. He is understanding and trys to redeam yourself sometimes and wants you to pass. But miss one day and you will be lost.

I loved his teaching. I like math, and I had a study partner for the class, and we turned out well. He goes over everything you need to know. He even has review days, and usually two bonus questions at the end of each test. Loved him :)

There is something about the way Mr. Reid teaches that just makes it click. Homework is not required and neither is attendance, though I wouldn't recommend missing. He puts off harder than he is. Quizzes can be made up and he curves nearly every test to help you get a good grade. I definitely recommend him.

He is a hard teacher, most of the stuff in that class he expects you to already know. I question how I got placed into that class, because he makes the students feel stupid. I also just switched my major which made his class obsolete, so i hate it. I don't hate him, just wish he was more helpful/approachable.

I failed math 111 with a different teacher. After that horrible teacher Reid seemed amazing. He can make you feel dumb sometimes but he is very willing to help you out. Attendence is STRONGLY reccomended.

I HATE math...and barely passed MATH 100, but Reid made the material so easy to understand. You do have to attend every class to stay caught up but it's not that bad. Grade is based on quizzes(get to use notes) and tests only but they are easy. Don't have to do homework, but it helps with the material. He always laughed at himself which was funny.
