Barkley is terrific at math, but he is not good at teaching it. His tests aren't terrifically horrible, but his final was ridiculous. It was a cumulative test in which he gave us no formulas and made it worth a larger part of our final than previously indicated.

TERRIBLE teacher. really, really bad.I suggest reading every chapter word for word, rather than trying to get any substance from his lectures. He's everywhere and will go off on a topic unrelated and unimportant while skimming past areas that are major parts of his tests.Maybe he's better with math,but for science skip him and take something else.

Thank GOD for Mr. Barkley! I was never any good at math, but I did very well in his class because he makes sure every student understands the material. I wish I could have him for every math class I'll have to take!
