Ayers is very passionate about music theory, and usually makes things easy to understand. He will give a practice test and if you do well enough on that, you don't even have to show up for the test, he just gives you the good grade from the practice test.

Just gave us a stack of photocopies from a textbook. Not helpful at all, wouldn't even give credit when it was obvious that effort was put into the assignment. All my friends dropped because he didn't want to help them.

He would just hand us stacks of photocopies from a book and never teach from them...expecting us to actually read. Not very helpful either, but given Malone's music faculty that's not surprising.

Dr. Ayers is such a joyous person! He makes class interesting and fun, and you can tell how passionate he is about teaching his students. He often goes off on little tangents that are hilarious and then saying "i just threw that in for free, no extra charge." He is great!

Goooooood Afternooooon, Theory scholars. Very interested in his students. Always had something to say to encourage us in the Lord, and would even pray before WE took a test. Loveable man, and loves his students.
