Robin is the nicest prof who actually cares about students. May seem like a lot of work at 1st but its easy once everything is explained. She tells you whats going to be on every test and quiz which is super helpful. I would def recommend her for required labs.

Robin is the best professor I have EVER had. She is so knowledgeable, and very inspirational. There was a lot of field work in this class, which I loved! She is a tough grader, but study your notes!!!!! Take good notes! Funnest class ever.

Her notes are exactly what are on the test so write EVERYTHING down, even the drawings. She would get off topic sometimes. If you had a question is was best to wait until after class so she could answer it properly.

DO NOT TAKE HER! I would NOT recommend her to anyone! she jumps all over the place, is selective on what questions she wants to answer during class. Expects you to understand her teaching methods. won't hand out a study guide. There are SO much more cons than there are pros to taking her! TRUST ME, you don't want to take her!! just retire already!

Has you buy the $30 book even though you can get it online for free. She will tell you the book is just $30 but not everyone has "just $30" to spend you know, college students can use that for gas or food or even a book they cant find online. Also, very ironic how she is a marine biologist but insist on wasting so much paper. just do not take her.

She is extremely sweet and genuinely wants her students to succeed but, she went on random tangents and would get a hot brain when explaining something during lab/lecture and confuse the class even more. Her teaching style made me feel overwhelmed with the insane amount of information She would give and expect to know on the test. Don't recommend

Robin was a great Biology teacher. Not only is she passionate about science, she really cares about her students and wants them to understand the material. The readings are easy and the labs are super fun. As long as you show up, do your work, and make sure you study the material you'll be fine.

Fantastic professor! Extremely helpful and explains content well. She thoroughly cares about her students success. She makes herself available to students during office hours and encourages students to stay during these hours to study. I havent had a professor care about my learning so much like Robin does.

She likes to relate anatomy with her zoology background, which is not helpful to students wanting to learn about HUMAN anatomy. She never explains what is going to be on an exam and expects you to study things that she did not even cover in lecture. Do not take this professor if you can avoid it.

Robin is one of the best professors Ive had. She cares about her students and does the best to get to know them and understand their needs. She defiantly prepared me for my upper division once I transferred. It is not an easy class but you will learn a lot . Pay close attention to her notes as everything she puts on her exams is on her lectures.

Professor Robin is really sweet, but tough grader on the test. She cares about the students and will try her best to keep the lab open as long as she can. What she teaches will be on the test, but will not say what is going to be on the test. So study everything she taught.

The "Celebration of Learning" were mainly critical thinking questions which made it extremely difficult no matter how hard you study Sometimes she gets a "hot brain" & gets thrown off during discussion which will then throw off the whole class The course itself is very difficult but she is a genius when it comes to Biology so ask lots of questions

She is better than a top university prof. She cares about her students, knows how to keep students on the same page. To study, I read assigned textbook/lab-book pages before lecture/lab and re-wrote class notes within a week of lecture completion. Didn't need to study much for exams, just had to read notes! TAKE HER!

Do not take this class if you aren't prepared to study as well as come into the lab during other times of the day. You need to actively engage in studying the lecture and lab portion weekly or daily, depending on how well you learn. This class definitely prepares you for university and it's best to start off and finish strong. Use office hours!

She is by far my favorite teacher. She explains things so thoroughly so that everyone understands leaving no student behind. She is always there if you have questions outside of class and gives you many resources to succeed. It is really apparent that she cares. Its 100% clear exactly what will be on the exams so if you study its an easy A.

this woman is amazing! i wish she was my mentor at life. she can tell who wants to learn and that is who she is willing to support. she will do anything in her power to help out a student, and her corkiness is uplifting. i highly suggest taking robin!

Awesome Instructor!! Totally recommend it for those who dislike Bio or are retaking it. I took this class as a fasttrack course which was very intense but she is soo good at teaching and explains well. The labs are very interesting. She also assigned an SI which was very helpful, specially preparing for exams and final. Ikeda you rock!!!
