Easily sidetracked and frequently spends time talking about personal experiences that have little to do with the matter at hand. Exams based on textbook readings/powerpoint, but powerpoint is rarely referred to in class. Attendance is mandatory, yet very little information conveyed in class lectures. Overall, more of a "teller" than a teacher.

Solomon would rather talk about her own international trips rather than teach, then give tests based off of information she never taught. I never missed one class and still couldn't get an A. She had to give 20+ point curves because literally the entire class failed, if that doesn't say something I don't know what does....

Absolutely the worst professor I have ever had. Literally treats you like your are in preschool with the no phone policy and no laptops. Doesn't teach, talks about herself and anything but Marketing. Get ready to have to read and teach yourself everything!

Terrible at teaching. Constantly goes on long aimless rants that are rarely related to the material. I can honestly say that I have not learned a single useful thing relating to new-age marketing management. Her slides are outdated and she must read directly from the book to say things that actually make sense.

Absolutely horrible. ALL of the documents are outdated because she is too lazy to update them. Her documents are from previous years. She communicates the wrong chapters to study for the exam. Attendance is mandatory and she never talks about marketing. A lot of homework & you must have the book to pass because her powerpoint aren't specific enough

Has very little knowledge of current marketing practices. Frequently changes syllabus throughout semester. Likes to hear the sound of her own voice. Has multiple favorites. She can be rude and snarky. Gets an attitude with her students regarding mistakes/errors that she caused. Easy A, but didn't learn anything that could help me get a job.

You're going to do a semester-long group project, beware of grammar usage and presentation skills she is a tough grader. She gives hard tests on material that is very easy, she deliberately tries to trick you. She almost always curves the scores. Her lectures are boring but you have to go, I don't know what is is talking about 98% of the time.

Only gives a midterm and a final but they are tricky. Do NOT buy the book. No matter how much she tells you at the beginning how much you need it, you'll never even open it. Group project lasts the entire semester. A Marketing Plan is developed with 5 person groups. Easy, just tedious. And she takes attendance.

All she does is talk about everything other than material for the class. She is constantly talking and eating. And she is always talking during tests making it hard to concentrate. She does really give you much guidelines for assignments in class. Pretty much seems like she's just there to take attendance and chit chat about Paris.

She doesn't lecture! All she talks about is AMA, brings in speakers and focuses more on the main group project,slides are available so no point to talking about it, than teaching the chapters. Exams are hard! Read the book word for word. She has a makeup exam, which would be unnecessary if she actually teach. Attendance counts, only reason to go.

Our textbook software was giving her trouble this semester,so class was a lot more difficult than it should have been. Also, Jill gets very political in class, which is not something that should be involved in a business course.She doesn't explain the project very well, and grades harshly on each part. If you make corrections though you'll do fine.

This is basically a repeat of Basic Marketing.. with a semester long project. What a Horrible teacher! She does not teach anything at all!! All she focuses on is the Marketing Plan which she still does not help you with or explain anything! Please do not take her.. On the first exam the class average was a 62!!

Jill is incompetent. She grades based on whether she likes you or not, which she bases on your appearance and whether or not you're in AMA. Lectures are useless, just get a good project group and pick an obscure product to market so she has no idea what you're telling her.

Material is easy. She barely teaches the material though. She lectures like she's under the influence. Says attendance is mandatory but never took it, she might remember to next semester though. Random, rambles, and is just useless. 2 tests and semester long project. Get a good group. Don't worry if you do badly on the tests, project is what counts

"Hard" because she does not teach. The material is easy. It is just "hard" to stay for her lecture. Attendance is mandatory. She just rambles about nothing for 3 hours. Describing her style is like a crazy scatter brained person kidnapped the professor, took her class and is trying to teach for the first time. SCARY that she is paid to teach.

She does not teach you anything so you have to really study the book. Long, difficult project so be sure to get a good team because she offers very little help. Scatterbrained, worst professor I've had in the college of business, but you can get an A if you're willing to put in the hours. I will never take her again.

Complete waste of time.Easy class but I learned NOTHING. Her lectures are a complete joke. She goes off on terrible tangents, mostly involving the AMA but never anything interesting. Then when test time comes around she gives you a review and that will be the first time you use the book. Again, waste of time.

This is the most useless instructor I've ever had. Goes off on random tangents the entire time. If you want to learn something, you'll have to teach yourself. Bring a laptop to class for entertainment while she rambles - it's the only way to make it through. Assignments are very vague. I wouldn't even recommend her to teach elementary level.

Took her for Marketing Management and turned out INT Marketing was the same class with a smaller project. My favorite teacher next to Ms Panzer
