This guy is a good prof in the important ways. His lecture style is rather dull so many people do not pay enough attention in class. This is a guy who will try to give you as many marks as possible on every assignment, but when it comes to programming you have to apply yourself or else nothing can help you.

Comment:

One of the worst lecturers I've ever seen. Just puts big blocks of pre-written code up on the screen and runs through them quickly with little explanation. Never actually writes code in class. Good luck to anyone who is new to coding and has to take any classes with him. You'll be learning from YouTube.

Comment:

Great teacher! People who don't like him are just lazy and are not ready to work. The prof gives a lot of interesting stuff and if you are really into programming there is no problem to dive deeper and learn more by yourself. The projects are clear and challenging, my employers enjoyed them during the interview.

Very poor quality of teaching. His style doesn't properly teach to students, he basically shows his own code and expects you to use and understand it. His online videos will put you to sleep. His knowledge of the field is decent, though be ready to just teach yourself the material.

Comment:

Boring and lazy. Just shows his old code, does not even try to explain his programming solutions. Keep repeating: "ah, ok, here you see this code, ah you know" and that's it. Makes a lot of mistakes in code. Projects and labs are not interesting at all. Get ready to type a lot on exams.

He is very Monotone, very boring to listen too. He gives me the vibe that he never wants to be there. No such thing as enthusiasm in his classes. If he could try harder to make the class more exciting, I may have enjoyed it more. He drags the program down for me, i'm losing interest because I cant deal with his way of teaching

I've only had him for web tech which is a straight forward subject. He's made the material easy and comfortable to learn, and is usually helpful. I'd suggest listening to his lectures on collaborate if you can, easier to pay attention. If you really listen you'll pick up some good insight.

I agree with most of the comments below. He's a really great logical thinker, very responsive to questions, and knows a lot about the field. I think letting us code along instead of watching pre-created code through the debugger would have been a better learning experience though, and I wish he taught us more during class time. Overall a cool guy!
