Comment:

The best math teacher I've ever had in my life. He's ancient, hilarious, and most importantly, he can teach anyone! The study guides are exactly like the tests. The hw is a big part of your grade & good practice so do it!

He is a lefty! Sit on the left side of the classroom, or you won't be able to see what he is writing! Mr. Pool has no problem stopping the class if you are lost so, speak up! The homework is easy, and he gives you ample review for the tests. I'm so glad I chose him. He may seem ancient, but he's very sharp!

There is No class syllabus because he wont move on to the next section until we fully understand what he is teaching,which is a great thing. Test study guides are exactly (not the same problems of course) as the actual test. final class Grade includes hw and tests. I recommend this teacher very highly.

Pool is a great teacher and will do anything he can to help you. However, he is getting up there in age and does forget things. He is also old school in his ways of teaching with no blackboard use. Test are not multiple choice and he allows you to drop or miss 1 test.

He is one of the best teachers I have every had! He was always willing to help no matter what. He always made time to answer any and all questions. He teaches you the right way to do math, with no need for a calculator. Come to class and do the homework you will do great. Anyone needing to take a math class I highly recommend him. Amazing teacher

Never dreamed I could get an "A" in math, but he made it understandable. He will take as much time as you need so ask questions! Do your homework. Mr. Pool is simply amazing. The best math teacher I have ever had! He is so easy to get a long with, and he talks so highly of how he loves his wife :) He always has a joke to tell every class, and he is just so dang hilarious. My first "A" ever in a math class. Pay attention, go to class, & you'll pass "They don't call me dirty pool for nothing."

Mr. Pool, is AWESOME! His passion for teaching mathematics makes it easy to learn. Math has always been my worst subject. I never understood it. Mr. Pool made it easy to learn, and when something comes easy its makes it fun to want to learn it. "Birds of a feather, flock together"

he has been helful from day one! Make sure u stay caught up with the homework. if u get stuck with a problem just skip it until u get to class,because he goes over the homework in class. you just have to ask otherwise he'll assume that everone understands and he'll move on. BTW; the more questions you ask N class is the more he'll take it slow

By far one of my favorite teacher. I never thought I would be saying that about a math teacher but he is so clear in his teaching and he is so funny that he keeps you awake. If you are lost you can ask as many questions as you like and no question is too dumb!

This teacher is great like everyone says. If you know the material the test are straight to the point and easy. He keeps you awake during class with his fabulous humor. This man is an incredible teacher, seriously. He will not move onto the next problem, let alone the next section, if you aren't clear on everything; you have to let him know if you're lost, ask questions! He'll go over it till he dies or you understand; he wants you to learn. Extremely fair and great sense of humor, just do the homework...

He used to teached at Carlsbad High School, where I graduated, when I was in High Schoool someone told me that he is very good, so I take him this semester, honestly, he is the best, the beginning of the class, he goes over the homework problem, then he starts lecturing, I really understand very well, tests are easy, I got an "A" in his class.

Professor Pool is awesome, knowledgeable, responsible, helpful, and very funny! You will not feel bored in his class! So much laughter in his class!
