Joe Conto is a nice guy if you were to talk to him outside of class and just ran into him in the hallway. Though when taking his class things are a little different. He can be mean at times. He doesn't like when you ask him to repeat things and do not write things down he is saying. Do not take one of his classes if you do not have to.

Joe Conto. I do not want to say anything bad about his. I personally did not find him that good of teacher. He likes to have you do lots of work and does not like when you ask him some other over again and do not write it down. He was mean to me one day and I felt like crap the rest of that day. Perhaps he was having a bad day.

As a hospitality major I do have Joe Conto almost every semester for a class. He is also my adviser. He is beloved by all his students but he is absolutely a tough grader. He always gives good feedback in case you're doing something wrong in your homework. He also takes forever to grade your stuff and you're wondering if you're doing well.

What can I say about Joe Conto other than Thank You Joe Conto. You were one of the teachers at Paul Smiths College that made my time at PSC memerable. Joe will challenge you. There will be days when you really hate him lots. There will be days when you think he is cool. But the way he teaches gives you the feeling of the real world

Joe is a good man with a great heart. However sometimes it seems as if he really does not have time for his students. I think he does way to much other than teaching. His work is lots and he does not really explain what he wants for work so you have to figure it out than he gets mad when you ask questions so be ready to figure things out.
